What a beautiful place to be in. I love the cinematography and music used in this video. It worked really well with the location I thought.

I think you did a fine job of capturing the small and the large. Especially the B&W of the sunlight filtering through the trees....very nice indeed!

Really Really loved the Golden Gate Bridge images! really took me back when I was there and the grain explosion on the images made me think of an old newspaper photo from the turn of the century.

Thank you for this! I’m going in a couple of days and thought of just bringing a mirror less camera and focus on intimate shots. Your video makes me feel like I’m making the right decision!

You’re in my neck of the woods! Pun intended :-). Nice images from a place that is very difficult to make them.

I like the BW`s very much, also love the zoom ins of the golden gate-it looks very like analog! Gruss Bernd P:S.: I bought a Fuji GA 645 for my streets and it works very well with HP5!!!

Beautiful video. Very smooth cinematic shots. Did you use a gimbal?
@aows5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Nope, just handheld, a lot of takes, slow motion and some stabilization in post.

What camera did you use in this video?

I remember when Miur woods was totally dead back in the early nineties when I lived in the bay area.

Whoa, hard to believe nowadays. It is crazy over there.

@@aows it's crazy everywhere now. In the early 2000s Shanghai had tourists but the Bund was very accessible and day or night you could get a nice spot to take pictures. Now you can't even think about using a tripod or stopping, and forget about getting up to the railing for an unobstructed view of pudong. Even Mt Everest has crazy lines at the summit. Ponder that for a minute and let it really sink in.

Reserve a spot. Nothing surprises me in CA anymore . 😂 Wonderful video!

Haha, yes, I'd never heard of something like that. It does get very, very crowded. Thank you for watching!

Your style in photography is similar to mine. Supposing I understand your photographs correctly, it seems like you're trying to capture the aesthetic of a place as well as its spiritual gravity.

To be honest, I don't really know what I'm doing. Sometimes is about that, sometimes is something different. It's about capturing whatever catches my eye :)
