I'm a little late here, but like I'm sure with some others, I solved that problem by throwing that thing away and by the time I zeroed my irons on it I got my Midwest Industries MP5 Top Rail Mount (minus the m-lok extension) where I now run my AP5 with everything from an LPVO on down. Semper Fi.

You happy with the Midwest mount then? That’s the one I was looking at, but saw some complaints about the screws. The other I’m considering is the B&T mount

@@ChristianGrest I have an AP5-m I also put a MI mount on and both got good screws, they're tricky to put on but work and look great. I hear the B&T is easier to mount though. Semper Fi.

I purchased the Midwest Industries claw mount and it looks and mounts exactly like that one. It has the same part milled out on the bottom and looks the same as yours. No idea why, it makes more sense to have it the other way.

Mine came with a free accessory combo package from Atlantic Arms and it fits with the milled cutouts in the rear and the curved portion towards the front. It’s opposite of yours. Maybe they milled yours wrong…??? 🤷‍♂️

I ordered an extra clamp mount by accident and both of them are set up like yours to fit into the milling and the squared edge faces forward

Yea they’re supposed to be the other way. I’m looking at other mount options. I’ve not had any real issues yet, other than the incorrectly milled mount and the screws for it are dinky… I foresee those wearing out if I have to remove the mount many times.

Thanks for the video. Can you do a review on some AC Unity magazines 👍 I keep seeing mixed reviews but I’m starting to think the good reviews are paid or gifted the mags. Unless the mags are that inconsistent in quality. I had issues feeding the last couple rounds. I think the spring is too soft.

Appreciate it! Yea I can definitely pick some up. Honestly had great luck with the MKE and KCI mags, so I’ve been sticking with them, but I’ve seen the Unity mags out there.

Yea I swapped it for a Midwest Industries mount. Old mount was machined wrong.

I have the same model and my claw mount is the opposite of yours. It’s the first time I’m trying to put the rail on and… well. I might have to ask for help because I can’t wedge all 4 things in there 😢

It’s somewhat of a challenge to get all 4 legs right. Atleast yours is machined correctly! I’ve since swapped mine out for a Midwest Industries mount.!

​@@ChristianGrest Are there any guide videos? Installing tips? I've seen one video but his is manufactured by Zenith and he easily got the wedges under the legs. As soon as I get two on one side, i can't possibly get the other two in. Or, if I try to place them all at the same time, then screw them individually, I'm only able to get 2 or 3 actually connecting to the wedge. I'm just bummed because I was hoping it'd be easy.

@@ChristianGrest Midwest industries gives you a mount that is raised though, right? Like you can’t use the iron sights with it. I cheated and got the Phillips screws to reach the wedges. Half factory hex screws half Phillips. How long before it vibrates loose? 🥹

This was a pistol too before I submitted a form 1. Not sure, but maybe some don’t come with the mount. Is yours a K version or full size?

Honestly didn’t even bother. Was easier to just swap it out with a better mount. Others have had the same issue.
