I understand that APA is needed to give people credits for their work. But it's not meant to be a critical part of education on any level. It really serves no purpose to anyone for professors to nick picking APA errors on papers.

@janikseshan98025 жыл бұрын
absolutely right, we need to give credit to the original authors but minor errors on citations, like comma and fullstop should not be viewed seriously by the professors. APA should be made more flexible.
@hollyzosky44835 жыл бұрын
Giving credit is completely fine. We have been doing reference pages since elementary school, but this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of...why change things. Just do normal old reference pages. It has always gotten the job done.

How do you create an in-text citation and a reference for an UNLISTED KZbin video? These are videos used in lessons in modules posted for online students? I am created a report. I talk about an Introductory Video the class watches in their Module 1. It is a KZbin video; however, since it is part of a school's curriculum it is unlisted (private). Do I insert the word [Unlisted] somewhere in the in-text citation and reference?
@peakdavid6 жыл бұрын
Esther--Use the regular APA format. No need to indicate its status. BTW, there are significant differences between "Unlisted" and "Private" settings on a KZbin video. But for APA they are not important--the URL is always provided.
