Funny thing is I just bought the same thing for $900 yesterday mine actually has a digital display a little different control panel than yours but the unit itself looks the same mine had zero hours on it I put one hour on it yesterday and now I'm going to change the oil hopefully mine last just as long as it is for my off-grid property also during snowy weather in Idaho

No need to hookup the battery to those terminals, the charding circuit is located behind the motor on the backside. The regulator connects to the case ground and the positive lead to where the starter red wire is coming from the battery, so it charges automatically.

Thank you. I later tested with meter.

12V 24 Ah garden battery, pretty much anything fits.

Awesome with any luck the sun will continue to shine now we are on longer days. Hopefully it will be cheaper to run but I know diesel is more per litre.

Hi. I have a similar generator tp this one that I got from a friend. it's a BDE6700T. I really don't know much about generators, but he said an electrician took part from it, and so it won't start. How can I get some help with it to find out what's missing? How could I send a pic or something?

Yes, break-in oil does that as the engine wears smoother from the bore etc. Check the oil on a brand new car in the first oil change and you see similar results.

Typical for every engine even in today's modern cars.
