Hello. I'd like to know how this suspension compares (when the air pressure is at max) to the regular plastic block (2017 or newer). Is it harder or softer than the original Brompton?

Hi,Bike Gang.After pumping in the pressure,is there anyway to release the pressure if say I wish to have a softer ride?

Some high pressure pumps for mountain bike have air release valve (push button) that you can use to adjust air pressure.

I've just bought a new Air+, and pumped it to 130psi, but the moment I pull-out the charging needle, the compressed air quickly releases, and all it's left is 30psi in it. Do I need to install the Air+ onto my foldie first, before I pump it? Can you advise please.

I also have this problem. Sigh…

I am using the Xiaomi pump. Was told to pump to 130 psi I insert the needle into the suspension block and press start .. pump only 3 secs and air start to release. Is this normal ?

No you do not need to ... the issue most lies on the L shape connecter. can you try directly put in the pump pin as shown in the video.

Hi. I just ordered a front ti axle (mini mods)for my brompton but I koticed that the skewer doesn't go more thru the nuts on the other side compared to original brompton axle. Is that normal and safe?
@BIKEgang3 жыл бұрын
This unit has it's own "skewer" (valved built in), so it do not need rear shock bolt (skewer)
@onebicycle37723 жыл бұрын
@@BIKEgang I understand but the skewer is a bit short compared to brompton original. Is it normal and safe? because the mini mods skewer doesn't go further to the nuts compared to brompton stock axle.
@BIKEgang3 жыл бұрын
@@onebicycle3772 Compare to stock, the moving part on 8IR is mainly the upper cover (with 8IR / MiniMODs marking), while the stock rear shock is center bolt (skewer). That is quite different.
