I love all the apartments you toured! Just an extra tip, don't shy away from an affordable unit just because it doesn't have in-unit washer and dryer. I've lived 4 years in a beautiful older apartment and have survived with a portable washer and dryer. Best investment I made! Along with my portable ACs because I was DYING in the summer!!

Which ones did you use? Do you have the links?

If you look up Magic Chef Portable Washer, you'll find many different sizes that could work for you. And for a dryer, I used the Panda Portable dryer, which has many reviews on KZbin.

My boyfriend and I will move to LA soon and I’m glad I found your video! It was so helpful and went into great detail. Plus, I’ve already seen a bunch of videos of people moaning negatively about how rents are expensive and you brought a nice positive energy to your video :) so thank you!

Hey Marco, all of your tips are so practical yet aesthetic - hope you will keep it up and upload more videos about interior design stuff. I could imagine it’s gonna be hard to keep consistency in the beginning of running a KZbin channel but you really nailed it, so looking forward to seeing more from you! :)

I liked all of those apartments. I would love to have that 3 level spot. Small room, small living space but to have that loft would be amazing.

Glad I subscribed when I watched the tour of your $2300+ apt. Your appreciation & enthusiasm for your new place was delightful. I am a senior & now live in the High Desert of CA. However, my daughter happily lives & worked in Culver City and is looking for a new apartment. I am forwarding!😉 Your pictorial chronicle was so informative. Excellent tips. Thank You. 👌👍

I loved watching your video. I lived and worked in West Hollywood back in the 70's. I lived on Palm Drive and on San Vicente Blvd. Started working at the Wiskey a go go. Then moved up the street to the Roxy Theatre. Working on the door when the Rocky Horror show was there. I can't quite believe the prices for a one bedroom!! Oh. My first apartment was on Laraibee. Can't remember the correct spelling. Later moved to the Valley when my wife and I had our son. The one bedroom on San Vicente to small for three.

I just got an apartment a couple streets away from where you used to live! On Palm Avenue. How was it like living there? (I’m new to LA) Also I’d love to go to Whiskey a Go Go but I’ve never been to such a place before, is it weird to go alone?

Great choice! You can’t beat those spacious rooms! I live in Los Angeles for 37 years and my favorite area is the Westside (Mar Vista, Southern part of WLA). It is close to Century City, the beach area, And other important areas in Los Angeles. I love, love this apartment and the price is great! By the way, I am new to your channel and I am looking forward to see more of your great content. ❤️

Can I just ask a question why does everyone always look for lighting in the apartment is it to save on electricity just curious 🤨 I just subscribed to your channel hello 😊
@browndiamond7792 жыл бұрын
I think a lot of content creators/ KZbinrs look for good lighting so their content, pictures, videos, etc look good for their viewers
@want.zamora2 жыл бұрын
I personally look for apartments with good lighting because it impacts the energy of the room! It feels very bright, warm, and happy. I’ve lived in apartments that face north and they can be very cold, dark, and depressing.

Parking and A/C are mandatory in LA. Summer heat is no joke. You can tell the people that don’t have A/C. They are walking around exhausted looking and miserable.

I came here to say the SAME thing! I live in mid-city also and if my apt didn’t have AC I wouldn’t have been able to even live here. I have a temp gauge on my heater and some days it was unbearable once it reached 80 degrees. If I didn’t turn on the AC it would’ve gotten over 90 easily.
