Highly impressive. This makes me want to learn how to use my key step pro. I was so excited to get it, but it just sits. I've grown so far away from using buttons and programming similar to this that I'm having a hard time getting back to it. This is inspiring. Thanks

Is that awesome bass really coming from the BIA? It sounds stunning!

Yup! It's the BIA triggered every quarter note in its "liquid" mode (this gives us a little pitch envelope that then gives us the kick-drum). Its got a v/oct sequence going into it as well, but since the pitch envelope is only applied on triggers, every other instance of time where its not being triggered, it simply plays that sequence! Applying fold on the whole thing changes both the kick and the bass, which leads to some interesting interactions between them. Also, since the voice is only being triggered on each quarter note, the decay envelope works downwards from there - giving the impression of "pumping" in the bass line, which is really just the tail end of the kick drum being modulated (pitch-wise)! Hope this gives some explanation of how I got it sounding this way :)
