I agree...I'm shocked more home decor companies haven't thought of this concept: sell the foldable twin or even full-sized mattress with a choice of covers like her friend made...in materials like leather/faux leather, microfiber, velvet, or strong fabrics in solids and prints to serve as the ottoman coffee table.

I really liked this apartment and wanted to see wider shots, too. But maybe it was just too small to get them? Love that she got a full table in there--I love a table that seats 4+!! Counter height was a great idea, too.

My problem was that hearing the word “like” every 3 words is distracting and I can’t enjoy the video of what looked like a very beautifully done apartment. Once you hear it, you can’t not hear it. Obviously she is not the only one who does it, but it is a problem for me. Really nice apartment though.

The star of the show is the beautiful exposed brick! Your color scheme accentuates it nicely. The textures used elsewhere make the place feel homey without being overdone. Great job! I watch a lot of these apartment tours and your place is one of my favorites!

Love the windows and views of the trees, what a difference that makes for a small space (or any city apartment!) That combination with the exposed brick is so inviting. LOVE the dining table and chairs, the living room chairs that are twinned are so chic, and the curved furniture pieces. Very nice.

She really knows how to utilize space. Most people are of the mindset that they need more space which makes no sense to me. More space = more clutter = more cleaning. Her style mirrors mine somewhat. The only difference is I have to have plants incorporated into my space. Favorite accents: exposed brick, dresser, seasoning station, living room light fixture, windows and shutters, bathroom sink ♥! I never knew you could get a triangle shaped sink.

I love how you have your artwork placed fairly low on your walls. I do the same in my apartment because I am vertically challenged as well and I enjoy my own wall art at my own own eye level.

Most people hang art far too high. I believe the rule of thumb is that the center of the art should be at about eye level how it would normally be viewed - either standing or sitting. Of course it could get tricky if, for example, you were a couple of distinctly different heights. But mostly where folks go wrong is hanging something much too high over a sofa or bed. It needs to feel somewhat anchored to the furniture rather that floating disconnected way above it. JMHO. 😊

This is one of the most amazing bathrooms I've ever seen - am obsessed with making the most out of small spaces. I wonder if one of those toilets with integrated sinks on top wouldn't have worked as well?! Great apartmet!

"little luxuries." That's saying a lot when it comes to NYC, for sure. Everything counts. However, like I always say about small spaces, there are even more ways to increase your square footage: MURPHY BEDS are the way to go for one's bedroom space, so the biggest eater of "real estate" can be tucked up and out of the way. Also a fold-against-the-wall kitchen or dining table and chairs help too, as does a sofa bed. Love the tree view, that dresser, and the brick wall! Pretty decent sized apt for NYC!

I wish I had been single and lived alone in a tiny apartment but that wasn’t my journey. I love watching women’s tiny homes and their gorgeous individual style. My home isn’t too much bigger and I have a 7 year old. Way too boring beige for me and I would add some colour. I plan to get a similar couch but add printed cushions.
