Yes! also don't park next to a sprinkler head in Florida with sulfur water sparying al over it. We had a customer who had one caliper rust out every 6 months like clockwork. We expalined that something had to be causeing this. After about 2 years and 4 new calipers and rotors, we tstumlbed upon the cause. We took them home and picked them up when the car was finished and as we saw a rust mark on the driveway and noticed the sprinkler head, lots of bells then went off for both of us! lol

.. good explanation about the springs on the pads and resetting the caliper piston. many videos on here fail to show this. I just did the brakes on my sons Dakota and was getting vibration noises bad. Can't believe I didn't get the spring in the right position, so yes it is possible to install the caliper incorrectly and not notice your mistake.

I'm having a problem with my calipers. I tried loosening the bolts and the thread seat broke loose from the caliper instead now the bolts just freezing and I can't take it off to replace it

These are the best step by step instructions for repairing front brakes. We replaced brake pads, caliber and rotors. After bleeding the brakes, it’s perfect. Thank you very much for all of your help.

Hubs are easy IF they are not original and rusted seized on like mine were. Hardest job I ever did!

never seen anyone use a screwdriver to push the piston back in you will most likely bend the screwdriver and it wont do anything. YOu can use a C-clamp or a special tool to do that job properly.
