Comedy is one of the things this game is for. Pushing everyone off platforms was always funny.

The main villian is Dr. Tomoki who is the father of Helga, we just don't see him because he was connected to something in the real world, that explosion we saw was how he got the pipo helmut on his head

+Dylan Harman No, Dr. Tomoki is not involved in this plot whatsoever, nor is he related to Helga. The actual villain is a man named Nazo, who has some unknown grudge against Helga's father (hence why he sent the Pipotron Brothers to kidnap him). As a solid proof that the Pipo Helmet incident happened before this, the Professor was shown in that flashback to when it happened. During the explosion, he was in the virtual world.

GrayAndPurple As I remember Dr. Tomoki's story is that he, the professor and Aki were working on the latest pipo helmet then an explosion happened which cause the pipo helmet to become part of his head. But it is unknown what caused the explosion

Where is it stated that Dr. Tomoki is the villain and Helga's father? He sounds nothing like the villain in this game, and he didn't appear until AE3.

It's because it was a work in progress. Also Helga had no father and Dr. Tomoki's story ties in with this story if you think about it

He stated that he was part of an experiment involving a newly designed pipo helmet but something went wrong and there was an explosion that same story as in the opening. As for the voice they didn't have the voice actor yet until later.

+Name Surname I don't think so. I remember something about that Natalie is Professor's granddauther and Spike is just a friend of them. I think I read that in lil book with instructions to Ape Escape PSX.

Yes, he was captured by the master of the pipotrons. I think they were trying to imply that he died in this game, but there is also an anime of this so i wont jump to conclusions.

Jake kun do you happen to know where I could watch that anime I’ve been trying to look into more of the pipotron lore for years. I’ve watched a few ape escape anime’s but none of them go into detail about helgas story and their connection.
