It’s movies like this that just make you appreciate the real thing more. Godzilla vs Kong, while not perfect, is still a fun monster mash up of two popular monster icons. This just has some stupid poorly anime cgi gorilla fighting an equally poorly animated cgi iguana. The thing is, while it still would’ve been TERRIBLE, it would’ve been somewhat better if they replicated the Monsterverse by giving each of these monsters their own movies before this one. They still wouldn’t have been good but........ actually no I’m stopping there, they still wouldn’t have been good I don’t even know what it is I was even saying.

Great reaction and rant on Ape vs Monster. I’m definitely dreading this movie and burning it to the grown, it looks infuriating. I honestly thought Raya and the Last Dragon is gonna suck but this looks unacceptable in my opinion. This makes Jurassic Thunder and Age of Dinosaurs look good in my opinion. I highly agree everything you said about this because Asylum has made worse movies than Disney ever did. I would rather sit through Homeward again than ever watch this abomination of a movie. On the bright side, Godzilla vs Kong is one thousand times better than this movie with better special effects and with Godzilla, King Kong and Mechagodzilla, it was amazing.

By No means looks good... But I still gotta say the effects Are still easily the best looking of Any asylum movie i've seen (for what that's worth, even if their first war of the worlds film was actually pretty servicable as a generic sci fi movie ), they Are definently better than king of the lost world for sure, and I Will admit the idea of a weird fusion of GVK and Rampage is... Interesting but I gotta say i still Think I'll stick to the megashark films at least back then asylum was more like the sci fi channel and made their own low budget sci fi movies with only the occational mock-buster, I'll probably check this one out soley for being from what i've seen the best (best = most "competently" made) NEW Asylum flick... Wish me luck and pray for my soul

The only reason Jack’s even reacting to the trailer and planning to review it later in the future is because it’s his job, he’s the King Kong guy, he has to look at even the ripoffs and cash grabs of King Kong just to earn the title alone.
