This is so relevant, as it informs most quiet solos you see today (outside of a band setting). Tata actually inspired me to focus on 1 or 2 drums as he gets so much music out of a single drum. Good video, thanks!

As always, you bring so much enthusiasm and humor to your "on point" instruction. Love it! I'm wondering if you can teach something on independence, which seems to be a major struggle for me. I'm in my 60's and can barely walk and chew gum at the same time. But I would like to continue to develop my skills. I've been playing a long time.

hola amigo,,te agradezco los tutoriales,, y dime que opinas tu,, yo escucho a los congueros de antes y los tios le sacan un sonido a las congas increible,,hoy con la tecnologia y la tecnica que es mucho "mejor" no se escucha tan alta calidad de toques,,suena todo muy igual se trata de llenar todos los silencios con cantidades de congas como alla,, y estos muchachos de antes con solo dos conguitas, hacian musica de la buena,,mira a don TATA,,el movimiento se lo puede sacar,,pero el sonido no,,agradecido abrazos
