I'm a Melee player and really do not enjoy watching Brawl. That being said, this set was incredible. Being able to watch Mew2King have that fantastic mentality, creating a superb comeback, and of course the hype made this a worthwhile 35 minutes. Mew2King is a true champion.

Right before this set,EVERYONE was cheering against M2K.Not because we dont like him or whatever,but the prospect of ZSS winning a national?Itd be hype.We didn't know it'd get him so down.If you couldnt hear it, the TO in the background told us "[M2K] says the only way he can win this is if he has the crowds support" @ 4:10. After that,we started cheering for him like crazy and you can see how it worked out for him.My voice is still gone,but it was worth it.Thanks for not letting us down,M2K. :)

APEX 2013 employs double elimination. Players in the "Winner's bracket" are people who haven't lost at all, and Winner's Final is the last match between two people who haven't lost up to that point. Players in the "Loser's bracket" are people who have lost once and will be out of the tournament if they lose again; Loser's Final is the last match between the loser of Winner's Finals and the person who made it all the way up to Loser's Finals in loser's bracket. In addition, there is Grand Finals, which is between the winner of Winner's Final and the winner of Loser's Final. In Grand Finals, the person coming from the loser's side has to win TWO sets in order to win while the guy from winner's side only has to win one set to win, due to the double elimination nature. So yes, the guy in Loser's Final has to work pretty hard to take it all, but being in Loser's Final is amazing for a national event like this (being in Loser's Final means you're guaranteed at least third place).
