We need to reach out to these 3rd party controller companies and tell them to use back paddles because every other back button design sucks..Great job I now have a good reason to buy the Apex 4

Paddles are patented by scuff that’s why you don’t see it on other controllers. Microsoft payed scuff to use paddles on the elite controller .

hall effect sticks out weigh anything an elite 2 can do. plus the polling rate is immediately noticed in fps battles. xbox controllers are known for being the slowest.

This is exactly what I’m looking for! Received my Flydigi yesterday and was so disappointed in the back buttons. I play Warzone and use the Xbox Elite 2 which I love. I use all four back paddles. I literally put the digifly down after 2 games because the back buttons are horrible. Just placed an order!

Hi, just received mine today. The 2 larges paddles lack of strength to comme back to their original possition, they are too loseless. I don't know if they have a way to use an inside spring to help... Sometime they go stuck. Dielectrical lube help to have more clicky buttons.

I've watched your Vader 3 Pro back paddles video and the design got me thinking, is it possible to design the connecting interface between the two pieces such that it only needs one screw? The contacting surface can have slopes/notches that align them so that they won't rotate when pressed.

There is a possibility, you could have the peg on the harness part and a hole in the paddle to stop rotation.

​@BouncingBallGames what are your thoughts on trying to make an updated version where the larger button actuators lie closer to the controller itself. As you said here, there is not much travel distance before actuation. I would love to see a design that lies closer to the physical controller. Similar to the elite series controllers. I would pay extra for that

@@chickenballs5511 I just taught myself CAD and I’m not an engineer, so my comprehension of some of this stuff isn’t grateful. I have figured out a way how to do that but I can only get it to work when directly in lines horizontally or vertically, realistically we need a 45 degree angle and I can’t quite figure out how to do that yet.

First off thank you for making these. Pretty cool. Just need to be a little more snug in there. There is some play where it sits inside the controller which make the screw on paddles a little loose. I haven't played any games yet but hoping for the best. Greetings from California 🤜🏼🤛🏼.

Nice, the elites controllers paddles are really good hard to move away from that style. But don't have hall effect joysticks so I love this controller. Does anyone know if trigger stops can be added to the Flydigi apex 4 controller? or if someone has done them, send me link so I can see because I can't find that anywhere.

They have trigger stops they just don’t have buttons you enable them with the screen on the controller

My left analog stick keeps breaking on this controller. This is my second time ordering it. It's hard to reccomend this controller with this design flaw. I also have the vader 3 pro. I feel like the vader is more durable than the Apex. However, if this wasn't a problem, the controller is beautiful, fast and accurate. I hope they fix this. I'm going to wait a few more months before I buy another one. Also, other people have had the same problem with their left stick too.

Apparently if you put the stick tension as loose as possible it decreases the chances of it breaking. I have only had mine for a week so time will tell.

Sadly not, there are way too many differences and the motors for the adaptive triggers are quite large.

Hey. Not possible I’m afraid. The software trigger stops are better than I expected, but you can still push through them.

Does the Kit come with both sets of paddles? just ordered mine but since I generally prefer to use both the paddles with my middle finger the bottom, one you didn't install honestly looks like it would be more comortabkle for me. Actually the stock backbuttons might even be the best for me, but can't wait to see how the paddles will feel and compare.

I tried ps5 fitting, it's a tight fit for the rubber sticks, I'd recommend OEM slip ons or you might risk damaging your non replaceable stick's rubber

Indeed. If you want to design and print your own you can, and as long as you’ve learned CAD and already have the 3D printer and filament, it’s free.

Default Flydigi back buttons are better than this, IMO. Paddles get in the way of your fingers.

If you use an individual finger for each button the defaults are extremely uncomfortable. If I can’t get use to it this will be my last resort.
