Adding to the positioning thing. I tried doing the Diamond to master climb with 2 friends who both were really good mechanically but were used to bad positioning because they only played pubs. They had several 4k20 badges, but in ranked they would overextend and overestimate their abilities many times. On top of that they underestimated their opponents, but one thing you have to realize is that pretty much everyone in Diamond knows how to aim and is playing with friends/communicating. If you're overextended you will get punished, if you're poorly positioned you will feel it. Stick to your teammates like they have honey between their buttcheeks.

I've been there for quite some time bro actually stuck D3 honestly. but this season I'm actully doing what better and I'm like 100 RP from D2 the best thing everytime that helps me is going circle with Valkyrie everytime right off of drop after looting of course and scanning next circle. But getting to that next ring has helped almost double my chances of getting KP in a game.

After watching both getting out of diamond videos, I realized I've been fucking myself and a lot of my random teammates 🤣 I'm a Bang and Oct main, but I also main Bloodhound and Ash now, every now and then. I just feel stronger w Bang and Oct so I always impulsively switch back. I've been stuck in D4 with some friends all of Season 11(Yes, that's sad af 😔) Honestly, we were that team that really grinded through Plat 3rd partying and taking out teams, but we found ourselves getting punished a lot for minor mistakes. Recently did the climb from Diamond to Master. Around D2 we found a random 3rd who we played with more as we had good chemistry. This guy said that he was pred before but got banned because he used the caustic speed glitch and is smurfing to get around (he said this when we got to D1). Cool, whatever. Within 2 days we went from D2 to Master, but something felt off. This dude always seemed to have crazy intel on where everyone was, but he was playing pathfinder. He didn't do more damage than any of us, we were pretty even and we often outdamaged him. However, he hit Master before us so my friend gave him a smurf account in Plat so we could play Diamond lobbies together. That account ended up getting banned, and as we found out our friend was a cheater. If he used aimbot it must've been a soft bot, but his intel came in clutch so many times. My point? Positioning and intel is more important than aim in these lobbies, though aim is still important. Also, there's going to be a lot of cheaters in Diamond, most of the times you won't even know it. Kinda sad that this dude felt the need to cheat to get to his rank.

I have downloaded your entire vod in entirety. This feat is actually the hardest and longest rank to get by. I have played on controller and made it to masters with coaching as well as friends. Being this good is extremely hard because you gotta IGL/have patience/play meta. Thanks for all you do noko video games and Apex pros inspire me alot. You forgot to mention that diamond is the most toxic rank, everyone’s ego goes sky high with the majority of players being all aim no brain. Plus the constant duos you get put with who just ditch you mid fight or have horrible game sense that will cost you games all the time. Not to mention the bugged servers every other game making gaining points practically impossible that game!

Landing uncontested is a very viable solo queue strategy. Keep your head on a swivel in that dropping and you don't even always have to land at a POI. I've soloed to masters twice.

3v3s are all about your angles and isolating them. Just like how to win a 1v3 you 1v1 then 1v1 then 1v1, instead you 3v1 3v1 3v1, or 3v2 3v1.

So difficult without a stacked squad or any comms. What I tend to do is communicate as much as possible and use the whole ping wheel very often. It gives your random team mates more confidence that you are enthusiastic about the win.

Yeah it’s sad… I play duo ranked with my friend (we have both been master several times) and the amount of toxic teammates we get is insane. The craziest part is most games we don’t load in with a teammate we get a lot of kp and high placement. It really shows how toxicity can effect a team. You just gotta get on to the next game

Playing on an alt in plat after hitting diamond is a blast. It can be challenging but overall not too sweaty yet a very aggressive play style. Definitely a lot of fun.

Just hit diamond rank a yesterday in solo. Our comp went Horizon, Valk (me), and last pick adjust to Gibby. This comp made us champion. we trio'd for 2 games more and won the game. Those are my first few games on diamond rank being a hardstuck plat. Having Gibby + Valk combo in a comp is broken. Then I solo'd again then lost all my RP. No comms, no team comps whatsoever.

I would have to disagree with caustic over wattson, her ceiling is higher but i feel like people are dumber when it comes to fighting a wattson. If her nodes are placed in a good way, that building is locked down pretty well compared to someone who can shoot a caustic barrel and wait to push.

A good Watson is clutch, but a good caustic is better, his kit is just so much more useful in those close battles, his gas alt will clutch way more than Watson's nodes and alt.

@@extracokebottle3435 Ya depends on play style. I have a really good caustic tm8 with 6k kills and just the amount of power caustic has holding down an area inside is pretty crazy. Even if they throw a bunch of grenades and stuff you should be pretty safe with your last resort crouching behind a indestructible barrel. Watson is also good at holding down areas like that but her nodes are breakable and can usually be shot out when destroying the door and getting an angle on it. Big Gas Daddy is also more thicc so thats whats more important at the end of the day.

It really is a hard analysis of yourself because I was same way stuck D4 as well but honestly you have to really look at what legends are good for and use them in certain scenarios. Crypto can either be used to be really agressisve from his ult which most people aren't. Or he can be super passive helping scan and used to gain banners but that not very useful when you think about it and it's just not a legend that's very versatile. I play with a lifeline main that's really good and hes really good but I feel is limiting out gameplay because of that. Idk GOOD LUCK MAN and I hope you get there

This is my first time playing ranked I had the game since b4 season 2 but never actually played only played a couple games and stopped till season 5 and played quit and came back at the end of season 11 and me and my friend got to diamond and I play gib since I ain't good enough to be the fragger and I know my limit so that's why I play support and I'm getting better but the bad games get me feeling like I ain't improving what so ever but I can say I love the game.

Heat shields go all the way to the ground. If people are above you, and the storm is closing, you can use their heat shield instead of your own. Then once they’ve run out of heat shields, you can start using your own, and they either have to die in the storm or push down to you. Either way, they’re gonna eat the storm and it’s gonna hurt.

I'm D4 in Apex legends, but Iron/bronze in Koovak. I still miss way too many shots. I can bet if I keep up aim training, I'll eventually start to gain RP again. My positioning is not that bad, i just loose 70% of gun fights (even if i have high ground) due to aim if a teammate doesn't help me. And yes, i'm pretty new to Mouse and keyboard (400 hours total fps experience with it)

Gotta upgrade to pc, couse everytime I shoot at enemies my frame rate turns into powerpoint slideshow and this 15 fps is so laggy that you just lose every critical gunfight.
