Project Wraith wanted to prove the existence of parallel dimensions. As a result of the experiments, Wraith phased through infinite dimensions and gained the ability to contact parallel Wraiths. They give her warnings and advice, and she gives them the same. (It actually works in the game too! If an enemy aims at you or you walk near a trap while playing Wraith, you’ll hear a voice that warns you) Amer Singh, the guy they were after, was the lead of the project and is the one responsible for putting Wraith through all that. The suited Wraith (nicknamed Voidwalker Wraith) wants revenge, while “our” Wraith wants to recover the memories of her life that she lost from the experiments. It was later revealed that Wraith was PARTNERS with Amer Singh, and she herself was a scientist on the project. When they ran low on funding, she made herself a subject. Unfortunately she got screwed over by Singh, being kept as a lab rat for years.

One reason I love Apex is because they actually have a lot of lore- which is super rare for Battle Royales- and it’s intertwined with Titanfall lore. They are in the same universe so there is so much story to tell that Respawn has in mind but just hasn’t gotten to yet.

The voices she hears are from the other Wraiths from other dimensions. She was experimented on and she ended up with the abilities. On Olympus they tried to replicate her phase technology to help solve the energy crisis. Shantel VanSanten does the voice for both versions of Wraith and continues to voice her in the game. I highly recommend checking out the one about Bloodhound. Allegra Clark is amazing in the role of the non-binary hunter.

Wraith, previously an IMC scientist named renee blasey, volunteered to be the test subject of project wraith. The project and tests turn her into Wraith and she lost her memories. Amer Singh turned on her and treated her horribly, not as the fellow scientist she once was.

She gained the powers from failed experiments in teleportation technology. She was a test pilot for a prototype jump ship and survived some kind of accident that took place, infusing her with the powers of this dimension called the Void. In game she hears voices warning her of traps, ambushes, and when someone is lining up a shot on her. The voices are other versions of herself in the Void dimension, experiencing every possible outcome of a situation. In game she can temporarily vanish into the void to be untargetable for a brief time, and while there she sees images of other wraiths. Her ultimate lets her create a full portal and create an exit point, allowing other players to use it.

Wraith was a project she's called René and she was a volunteer in all muliverses for the project. The first wraith in the clip didn't lost her memories and became a Weapon in the hands of the IMC (bad guys) and gone rogue. The wraith we see later has lost her memories and was considered as a failed experiment. She's also the one we see in the Launch trailer. The Voices in her head are other versions of her (basicly multiverse) which warn each other about threats, they are the voice in her head (btw it's also implemented ingame itsself). I hope this explaines something 🙂

A neat aspect that I so far don't see anyone mentioning is that in Titanfall 2 (the previous game that takes place in the same universe) phase technology exists but only simulacrums, which is basically a human conscious in a machine body, use it. Revenant is a simulacrum as well as Ash, the lady bot you see in the Season 9 trailer who also happens to be from Titanfall 2. The lore is verrrryy intertwined

Apex lore, wraith was a scientist part of a group that is known to be extreme, in titanfall 2 this group had blown up a whole moon in testing, so yeah extreme, wraith wanted funding to fund her project to see if there are other dimensions out there, but in doing this project since no one wanted to be guinea pig she turned herself into one, in the process she lost her memories, and her lab partner amer Singh went crazy testing her and torturing her but she did gain the powers to phase and make portals to other dimensions, the phase walker also known as the angry wraith you saw was originally from the universe where apex legends is in, while the the wraith that was saved was from a universe where the Imc had won the frontier(basically a war prior to apex legends hence the beginning of the first apex trailer saying liberation from the imc, Imc are the bad guys who had funded the moon testing group) so the wraith you saw in the trailers is a wraith from a different dimension trying to figure out who she was before everything, btw wraiths real name is Renee blasey. I'm just a bit of an apex lore obsessor

Okay, so the way how Wraith works is that she can access the Void which is like a space that can bridge/connect other universes. And all the other versions of her died and actually warn her about what happens. It's like if you see a door and don't know what's behind the door, all those dead versions of her from another reality can warn her what's behind the door. The Voidwalker Wraith (the one with the opening/closing helmet) is the one that wants revenge but the Wraith that we know (the bald one) wants her memories back after the experiments. The experiments gave her the powers to phase in and out of the Void as well as creating the portals with her power, she was a scientist that experimented with Void travel and energy but when she used herself for testing she was exposed to the Void and given her powers.

Apex Legends it's 20 years after Titanfall 2. Proyect Wraith comes from the intent to expand a spy device with the technology to go through time(a glove). Wraith was a pilot who acceded to be a tester. The experiment didn't had results and after too many tries she loose her memory. (Sorry if my grammar it's bad, I'm spanish speaker)

Wow.... So you chose this one... Amazing choice. The story is about Renee Blasey, The Wraith you saw in the opening is the Voidwalker herself from another reality. They're on Planet Typhon. ARES is a division obsessed with phase technology. Renee Blasey was experimented on by the scientists of ARES Division. The Bald Renee you saw, is also one of the legendary skins in the game. The Liberator. Also, the portal thing, She has the ability to go into the Void, and basically she has a Spider Sense which warns her about danger near. Wraith's from other dimensions warn the current Wraith of danger

Rene blasey (wraith) was a pilot and offered herself up for the wraith experiment and it went sideways and gave her the voices in her head she can change dimension by the device on her arm and she was angry at that guy because he tried to kill her so she wanted revenge also in a other dimension that’s red robot from the launch trailers rules over one of them it was revealed to us for the Halloween event

Would love to see you try some League of Legends for a Saturday let's play. There's the PC version and also a mobile version called "Wild Rift." Wild Rift is more accessible, but a lot of people consider League on PC to be the "definitive" version.

If I remember correctly she was a scientist and made herself her own lab rat, she tested the powers she has on herself. She has this multi-dimensional power and I think in every dimension wraith has a different story? I'm not quite sure, we do know is that the wraith we play in the game or the one you guys watched on the trailers.
