I haven’t played the game in over a month and decided to try it. First match a conduit with 20 thousand kills THIS SEASON I’m killing default players who aren’t good and I died to a pathfinder who got 40 thousand kills in one season. That all happened in one match. I’ve played since pre season and even I can’t keep up anymore as I just want to play for fun but I can’t even do that in pubs.

Its just not possible to hop on this game and have a few fun and chill matches... Almost every game now feels like im playing in Diamond/Master lobbies (like 90% of the time)... so i feel like i have to sweat my balls off to not die instantly... It has come to the point that i more or less stopped playing cause i was more stressed out rather than enjoying it.

They wont do input based matchmaking because of que times that would split the player base into 3 groups (C for controller) C+C C+MnK MnK+MnK they would also have to do this with every game mode which would increase que times even further especially for rank since a majority of high ranked players are all on controller.

idk if it is just me but sometimes in game i will hit tons of shots on someone, get the hit markers and the noise of a bullet hitting but no damage is done. is that a common issue among players or just a problem i am having

district was supposed to release this season along with the quads and alter but it took too long, thats why this season is dry and that poi is in the artwork, whatever that means (new district poi or new tdm map)

I hope we get the weapon mastery rework soon. I kind of like levelling up my guns but some of the trials are way too hard, verging on impossible I would say for a few. And the length of time it takes to level up is crazy too. I heard that to level up every gun to 100 would take nearly 3000 hours and that doesn't include doing the stupid trials!

yeah wont happen not enough players and also that would basically be respawn confirming that aim assist is an advantage/op and I don't see them doing this. Respawns strategy is to just ignore it majority of the player base is controller probably 80% or more so if they change aim assist they lose players if they do nothing they lose some players or those swap to controller.

I would assume Quads would just be Duos but forcing two duos together. That way, they can stay lazy and not design an extra slot in the main menu (plus not letting pre-made squads be more powerful)

Right? most of the people complaining probably listen to the sound through their tvs speakers while blasting music. I use a nice headset and I can hear most things, unless there's too many sounds playing and it cuts out because that does happen, or explosions and gunfire sounds covering it up

Brother I literally have super human hearing on my headset cranked to max and had a horizen tactical on me with zero audio today alone. It isnt a people playing music issue its the fact that it is wayyy to easy for noise pollution to happen. @@matthewcolangione5737 that's just how any game works. If too many noises are happening, some will cut out so it doesn't crash the game. For example in Minecraft, if you have a bunch of different mobs together, eventually some sounds get cut off so the game isn't affected.

Off players will still be always practically on, since all MnK players turned it on, roller players only get to play with other roller players due to no MnK players queuing.

I feel like the matchmaking should be based off a player’s k/d ratio, how many kills, wins and round it up to other people. It would also give a reason to keep your k/d ratio up so you don’t get crap teammates. What do you think? Thanks for the interesting video, keep up the great content!

When it comes to layoffs you also need to look at what jobs were getting deleted. It could be like 500 HR employees and other useless departments and only a handful of actual devs. Also yeah matchmaking is awful rn. Every time I die in solos the badges of the person who killed me are never below masters, mixtape is the opposite to where I feel like I am bullying enemy squads 95% of the time. There is no winning

Nice to see older players on reddit like myself getting support for input based matchmaking and about how unfair and uncompetitive it is to fight against aim assist. The attitude has definitely shifted recently, when I posted on reddit about a year ago about aim assist being unfair to mnk players, I was banned by the mods who said I was being toxic simply because I said aim assist is partial aimbot. Everyone who responded to my post flamed me even tho I said nothing wrong. Glad ppl are finally opening their eyes.

I quit apex because for the last 2 years i felt like i couldn't improve in anyway without 3 stacking, because of the matchmaking being consistently horrible and even making the wins i got feel rigged, i was either stomping lobbies or getting stomped for too long, very rarely challenging fun fights.
