I’ve been just as happy with the McKees FC-717 cutting compound and finish with Drive Auto Victory nano polish and seal. The compound removes most swirls and scratches, so the Drive polish has little work to do. And far less time, using fewer and faster passes. Leaves a sealant on the car too! For a showroom car, nah? But EDD? ABSOLUTELY!

Great information you are very knowledgeable. I just purchased a variable speed polisher. I only got it for my vehicle or if I do my aunts car or family. I bought it from TCP global it has a digital rpm speed display.It came with a bunch of different grade foam pads and a wool pad. I only paid $119 it is probably not that good but I will see.My Camaro SS is New I don’t really want to use it on it. I use Adams products and the ceramic boost.Thanks again for all the work you put into the channel 👍🏻

Do you ask the customer if the veichle has had a previous wax / coating applied? Do you remove the previous protection before doing a one step and applying a sealer/coating? How do you do a maintenance wash on a wax/ paint sealed car ? Does a ceramic coating spray require the same maintenance wash as a more expensive ceramic coated 3year application?

3D One vs Griots correcting cream? Which has more cut and finishes better? I like the correcting cream very well, more cut than a polish, yet finishes just like one. If this 3D one cuts more, I might just give it a shot.

1. Do you find you need to constantly clean off/change the small pads because they load up with spent product/clear coat? 2. Have you done a head to head of One and HD Speed? There's a review out there that says there's no difference between the two.
@danlc953 жыл бұрын
The biggest difference between Speed and One is that Speed leaves a polymer/montan wax on the finish. Speed's make up is 10% cut, 20% Polish, and 70% "wax". ONE is capable of heavier cut.

Hi Brian, Thank you for your videos! As a beginner, I find them helpful. My first project is a "C" class motorhome that has not been detailed for 5 years: Heavy oxidation and faded cracked decals. I want to pick this up for my first attempt at a paint correction on my black 99 vette. I've heard they are known for hard paint. I'd be pairing 3done with a Adam's swirlkiller and an orange cg hex pad. The swirls are light to moderate, do you think I would be able to get by with a 1 stage on this then protect ? I really dont want to haze my paint
