We've got a new exhaust setup on the car! The A'PEXi N1 Evo Extreme Catback Exhaust is a single exit exhaust that exits out on the driver side. It was actually designed for use on race cars in Japan so it is tucked up as high as possible to give you the most ground clearance. They've also minimized exhaust movement under performance driving by adding an additional hanger. This exhaust offers one of the best exhaust tones I have heard for this car with a deep and throaty sound and no drone whatsoever due to the helmholtz resonator.

Go Kevin Go! Apexi N1 exhaust is my favorite exhaust brand. Had the same N1 exhaust on my 7th gen celica. Absolutely didn't disappoint. Love the burnt tip and the extra plastic cover for the other side. No detail left out! Great job Apexi!

I would absolutely love to hear it with some unequal length headers and a front pipe! It seems this exhaust might be the best pick for something that sheds weight and opens up the engine's breathing without making you a huge annoyance to everyone else.

Great sounding exhaust. Unpopular opinion here but super loud obnoxious exhausts are not my thing. Im 40 now and had my share of straight pipes, crazy "wake up your neighbors, set off car alarm exhausts". It was only cool in front of my group of friends lol. Other 95% of settings, im just some douchebag. Expcially becuase it was on my civics/integras back in the day. Natrual progression of a maturing tuner. This one sounds oem plus which is "chefs kiss" 👨‍🍳

maybe you get asked this a lot but since you have both GR86 & WRX, if you could only have one which one would it be? Also, can't go wrong with Apexi N1. Maybe a little quiet now but like you said with a full exhaust its going to be perfect.

My GR86 is my favorite car. It's fun to drive, it makes all the right sounds, and it also looks really good. I do very much enjoy the WRX for the convenience factor and it makes great power. When I took it to the track it was a blast.

Struggling to choose between this or the dual exit. Leaning towards dual for the looks tbh. They seem to produce a similar tone but would you say this one is louder? Seems like it. I personally don't want super loud but I do want audible. Both seem to be in acceptable range but the dual on stock header sounds a bit quiet in some videos. The dual with UEL header seems right at that sweet spot though.

In my opinion dual exit looks way better. I have a greddy evo gt dual exit on my gr86. if you want a little more loud than the apexi definitely check it out

Beautiful exhaust. How difficult is it to install the additional hanger bracket? Does it require drilling and removing the rear seat or does it use existing mounting points? Sounds like a great choice for a quieter exhaust that you can hear without the fake cabin sound. And I assume no drone?

I can assure you that the other brands that currently make something like this don't look the same. This piece is obviously not for everyone. Being made in Japan and imported is going to inflate the cost, but it's worth the build quality.
