I love how this song starts out as sort of a dance track, like when you hear the intro, you think “wow, this song is gonna be dope!” And as the song continues, it gets more emotional. When the drums disappear and you’re left with the synths and pads, you’re most likely to get emotional. I get emotional every time because of how beautiful this song is.

This just popped into my recommendations after like God knows how long and I'm more than thankful it did. This track just sounds so melancholy, like a far away inhabited galaxy crying out for someone, anyone, to come into contact with for centuries only to be met with the cold silence of space, slowly snuffed out by their kind's own hubris. That is when the messages finally reach us as we too are shouting into the cosmos, a glimmer of hope as we listen for an answer that was yet to come. Tell your brain each of the two girls eyes are the eyes of a lionman staring at you, and you'll see it again. Then, tell the lionman brain it's two girls kissing, or, the same girl kissing a pane of glass, but photographed from each side. Then, see the lionman again, staring at you. Practice and you can see the rabbit and the duck, or the faces and the goblet, simultaneously.
