my Streamlines started falling apart after 6 runs (40km approx). The insole is becoming unglued or unstitched and some weird brown dots are appearing on them. I wrote Customer Service and they had the nerve to offer a 10% on my next shoes!!

You should size by cm not us. Adidas is half size off than Nike for example. 8.5 is a 9 in Nike of measuring by cm. Usually solves sizing differences between brands for me.

Only person I know personally who has APL shoes has about 6 pairs. Money is not a factor for her though. It seems to be popular among wealthier types. There are a few popular KZbin fitness people who train in them. I’ve never worn a pair but have held one in my hand and can tell you the quality is a step above a “normal” shoe. It’s kind of the opposite of a hype shoe. It’s not flashy, and all quality.

The quality is a step above your normal, average Joe Nike or adidas. Something you might not realize until you have them in your hands. Definitely a favorite among upper middle class and wealthier types.

@@94chevyz71 right there with you. It really comes down to preference. I’m not saying the $300 price is justified, as you’re also paying for a slightly elitist brand imo. But having held a pair in my hands before the quality is noticeably better than an average sneaker. To an extent that doesn’t come across in a picture or a KZbin video.

@@fernie51296 for me I don’t care what’s wrote on it, but when I put it on does it make me say wow this is comfortable. I’ve tried on some shoes and boots that are supposedly very well made with high quality products, but the comfort is nonexistent. I’d rather walk all day on concrete barefoot. I’ve come to learn over the years that just because the quality and craftsmanship is there or “high society” people buy it, doesn’t mean it’s that great or comfortable.

@@94chevyz71 totally agree. For me, I own too many shoes to put $300 into a single pair (unless it’s going to have some resale value). For what it’s worth, APL is known for some comfortable shoes, but then again so are Allbirds. Which I have a pair and feel they are pretty meh. Also, APL is more geared towards those look for solid training shoes. Nike and Adidas have some good runners but when it comes to all purpose shoes APL is better. That being said, I prefer the Swiss brand on-running for training shoes. There are so many options out there, there is no need to settle anymore.

It’s a nice shoe, but no serious runner would spend 300 usd to run on these. Can’t compare performance to Nike’s Vaporfly or Alphafly, which are cheaper. Also, this review is made by someone who is clearly not a runner, so any opinions about the running prod or cons of this shoe, should be dis considered. This is a RUNNER LOOKALIKE fancy shoe
