I like that you review also this kind of “niche” shoes that are unknown by the majority of customers

These are the types of shoes that you'd see someone wearing at those gyms that cost 300 a month and have a spa and all that stuff. They do look nice with that colorway. But I agree with the glue being visible. For 250.....they better look flawless.

I think of them as Equinox shoes (which isn’t a bad thing!), tbh, so I’m with you there and agree!

I love APLs but I use them for casual wear. I don’t wear them to train. They are so good looking to me. I have gray and white pair and wear them all the time to go out.

Thanks for the video! I currently own and do enjoy wearing my APL Breeze - Heather White. I bought my pair on sale (about 150 usd) as I could not justify paying the full retail price (220 usd). I note that the Tracer's that are being reviewed in this video and my Breeze's are two different models. My Pros: The design is very sleek and streamlined, and this seems to make my legs look slimmer/longer compared to when I am wearing more bigger and clunky/chunky workout shoes from different brands. Also, my heather white APL's wash well and come out looking good as new from the washing machine. The Cons: Sadly, there is nothing really special about these shoes in terms of performance - this would be the biggest drawback. Also, a girl who noticed my new shoes was surprised when I told her they cost me 150 usd, so in terms of apperance, they can look mediocre as well. Maybe buy yourseld a more exotic colorway (e.g., Champage + Black) to get over the second issue.

Hey Jake thank's for all these detailed honest reviews! some other of there models looking interesting. i'm looking for a very stylish ventilated breathable all around every day summer shoes that are not sandals...do you have any recommendation? (i have a widish and high arch/midfoot :) i was looking at Adidas clima cools or reabok floatride 4 or pegasus or Columbia vent or maybe the vivobarefoot or the APL breeze or racing shoe's? i think doing a video of the best breathable daily shoe's will be interesting for many people these days (i'm in the humid middle east so atlist here is most important) thank you

I like that idea! I’d say also look at the On Cloud 5 or X. York Athletics Frank Trainer is also a solid option to explore 💪

u did a great review. i am not a fan of APL at all. i have always felt APL is not good. for more a boutique brand, better to get Inov8, NoBull, etc.

For $250, it better give me super powers. I'll stick with my R.A.D. One's. Skechers finally released some dedicated trainers. They're called the Go Train Stability. Will you be looking to review them?

The sizing isn't even unisex though they say it lol, I bought a men's on sale (9.5 according to their unisex guidelines) and it was pretty wide like wrinkling tying up, then I found a women's 11 on sale and it definitely fit more snuggly (accurately) than the apparent equivalent loll

I will send a message from Japan. Jake, thank you for always providing useful information! By the way, I've always been curious, but I want to know if it's the brand name of the shorts you always wear. I want to buy it because it's so cool. Nice to meet you.

Would you say this shoe is worth 120?
@thatfitfriend2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, 120-130 if you understand what they’re good for! They’re not going to be the model for CrossFit or heavy barbell work, but versatility-wise I think that’s a fair price for them. I paid $135ish for these with shipping and taxes!

Very disappointed 250$ is too much for every training shoes. The technology of the shoes does not justify the price. I have also concern about durability,
