After a couple of days this video will remain in place with the "hold screen" removed. Typically they leave up the livestream -- including the intro section, which can vary in length based on when the hosts/technical folks are actually able to get started -- and later come back to edit out the dead air (presumably handled by someone when it's not after working hours on a Friday or there's something otherwise more pressing on that individual's agenda, like processing and uploading the audio version of the podcast to various feeds.) In addition to speculating about why they aren't able to immediately make the edit, I'll also speculate that the reason Marketplace leave the livestream as the published video is to avoid annoying subscribers with the reposted video appearing in their subscription feeds and to retain the live views in the video view count.
