@@RalseiTheGoat It's infamous because it got to a point where the fans were asking Eggman's actual SEGA hired voice actor to do the bit. Eggman's VA made a short video politely declining to do so and calmly explained why it would be a very bad idea for him to do the bit with his real voice. Snapcube later on publicly apologized to Eggman's VA on behalf of the Sonic fandom for pressuring him to risk losing his job at SEGA over a meme.

You should react to Snapcube's Sonic Fandub series if you haven’t already, Lythero had one of the voice actors from that series here, reprising his roles and doing his voices for Eggman, E-123 Omega, and the Adventure series President whenever they were on screen. There's subtler references to jokes from the fandub series all through the video too outside of Alfred Coleman doing his thing.

I'm telling you right now Sonic 06 was there for me on KZbin when I was watching the game place I honestly did like the story only because of the villain and his maniacal laugh and of course a bit of Silver the hedgehogs powers I feel like Sonic should have Silver's Powers more then the character himself then I kind of wish shadow kind of absorb the abilities of Methodist while Sonic would absorb the power from Iblis I always thought something like that was cool to me

limited by the curse of 06's existence and construction i was so hyped as a kid for it, my prior sonic game being sonic adventure 2 (played it to death and back for hundreds of hours) i missed the boat of 06's actual release and we got it on the cheap on ebay, wasn't very knowledgeable about video game announcements back then (a wee lad that had yet to understand what E3 was) went to play it.....and what a let down, music was great, gameplay....mega ouch, and then the game forced me to watch a CGI human kiss sonic bright side, introduced me to new sonic characters blaze and silver blaze would later turn up in sonic rush, in a true return to form for the franchise

​@@knuckles543 Sonic Rush was released in _2005._ Blaze is from Sonic Rush. Blaze wasn't even going to be in Sonic 06 originally, but the director apparently saw how well Sonic Rush did and liked the character, so they shoehorned her in late in 06's development, which is why she's rarely ever addressed, or has any plot importance outside of sacrificing herself in Silver's future. (A plot point that you could conveniently remove from the story without it having any real impact on the plot, almost as if it was added for the sake of giving Blaze a purpose) Blaze in 06 is also flatly written, doesn’t come off as the same character from Rush, and has an entirely different backstory, they didn’t actually care about representing the character outside of surface level qualities.

35:17 granted Amy wasn’t really furbaity the same way rouge was, in fact, people actively disliked her because she was annoying, so yeah, rouge was the de facto sonic waifu for a long time, and still kind of is the sole female sonic character of that caliber, since the others were either not eye-catching enough or didn’t show up enough to catch on.(maybe sally, but even then she predates rouge and is really in the “doesn’t show up enough to catch on” category(hell she’ll likely never show up again in official media due to being linked to two canons that ended 8 and 31 years ago respectively))

Fun fact, you know that one baller scene of silver v super sonic?, that shit is heavely in favor of silver, yeah, not joking. if we go by silver feats on the comics, this idiot and soft man is stronger than super sonic on his BASE FORM, seeing how he beat the shit out of enerjack(aka, super chaos god from echidnas). If silver were to go super it would be so over for a lot of the sonicverse characters
