It has been said that this next battle should be treated as if the last two never happened, basically making the matchup again, just in their modern format with the skills they've acquired over the years. Also, they're including everything for both characters, so the matchup is actually a bit close this time. Superman still wins, but still.

Goku has Ultra Instinct is the newest state he achieved. The first time was GT Goku, second round was Super Goku just after the Universe 6 vs Universe 7 tournament, now we have either post Tournament of Power or Super Hero Goku who sort of knows how to use Automatic Dodge & Counter.

Honestly the Trenazlor thing means that the Doctor has more experience... but that's not even the only thing. The Doctor also fought in, and ended, the Time War between Time Lords and Daleks. And it is implied that he fought for a long time in that war, since, after he had ended the war, he regenerated on his own, without having been 'killed', so he was basically at the end of that life as it was. Rick can't really compete with the Doctor's intelligence and experience, the Doctor has dealt with bigger threats than Rick before.

Goku vs Superman 1 is decent for its time but super outdated and 2 had really bad research and even the Death Battle team dislikes that episode (its title was even changed to Irrelevant Sequel) 3 is done as a more mordenised version of the match up with proper research and characterisation. Also yeah both have gotten stuff that didn't exist the last time they were in DB, but that's mostly for Goku

Because mid recovery he used the laser and as it ends rick comes and then he regens again To kill the doc it must be mid regeneration so basically when it caused Rick to fly back that's when he should've killed him but the doctor saw that happening

I mean to be fair it's honestly hard to say if goku in ultra instinct could beat superman one million prime or vice versa. As those are both each persons ultimate end game form neither would be able to go any higher probably. Though if they are using those forms it'd probably be superman who'd win one million prime is completely broken to the point that it's straight up unfair to use it against anything because it'd be a one sided match. If they are just using current forms as in in their ongoing series and not older finished works then it's hard to say.

Rick vs 40k? nah, he'd win. He'd bullshit his way into harnessing the power of the immaterium and becoming the only chaos god, Tzeentch would be passing butter for his empty amusement. I can see him fooling everyone in the imperium into believing he's the emperor reincarnate because they just forgot so much of the power of technology and even Rowboat Gorillaman would be convinced that it's the genuine article (mostly due to his "stellar" personality, just like old pop's). Given enough time he'd probably convince every other faction that it's in their best interest to just off themselves to combat against some egregious antagonistic force of the universe... Well, except for orks but with them I think using them a la vampire powered piston for some invention of his would suffice. And Nids? Giant space can of bugspray and prometheum, it never fails. Just because the Doctor doesn't use the TARDIS to attack doesn't diminish how powerful it is. We've seen on more than one occasion Rick's ship get damaged and borderlined destroyed. And you know what happened? Nothing. A TARDIS being destroyed has the capacity to destroy the entire universe by causing cracks in space time. That's the level of power it carries. And the reason Rick paused at the end was because he was waiting for the Doctor to start Regenerating, so he could shoot him again during the process and actually kill him. It was actually a smart play on Rick's part since he knew what Time Lord's were capable of in this. But that's why the Doctor made sure to fry Rick's gun before he started his Regeneration, he's just smarter than Rick. And the Doctor is a master at turning his enemies strengths around on them and getting them to take themselves out. Ironically, the more firepower Rick brought to this fight, his car included, the quicker he would have likely been taken down.

The one thing I actually do have some issue with was that Rick's entire "make sure I can never cross paths with somebody who might piss me off and I can't take in a fight, because I already know I stop paying attention to consequences when I'm angry and drunk and I hate myself enough to be self-destructive" defense failed, which allowed the whole thing to happen in the first place.
