Yeah, even before he started talking about the Eisenhorn stuff from Xenos, i started thinking about how much I hate Heldane, and the fact that he's still alive a few hundred years later when Ciaphis Cain is contemplating Ravenor's book. Or does he show up in Gaunt's Ghosts? I love that Dan Abnett has Heldane pop up i in different novels, even though he's such a jerk. Abnett writes great xenos species, the Saruthi are awesome. Eisenhorn is pretty tragic, but this novels show you what life is like in the Imperium outside of the Guard and Space Marines.

What series is this lore found? I've read almost every 30k and 40k novel and codex that's been released since the late 80s, and I've never heard of this battle between Eisenhorn and Lucius in which Lucius is seemingly perma-killed. Even asking Google when the two fought yields NOTHING. No answers whatsoever. I notice there are others asking where this lore comes from...and have received no replies, either, and absolutely no mention of this can be found in Wiki or Lexicanum's Eisenhorn OR Lucius' pages! What's going off? Why is it not mentioned ANYWHERE online apart from this video?

interesting enough. as far as i can see with Lucious. one can't kill him. I mean with all those loops and roundabouts that happens as he can be reborn from just a factory worker who built the mine or even a servitor. then yea i guess one could trap him, cause maiming and crippeling this warrior to then trap him will ensure that at one point Slaanesh would tire as their champion is unable to do anything. i mean we have seen how astarties can be trapped and idk if one can litterly rip off his limbs to trap him.

Talking about Eisenhorn and then you go and say Inquisitors don’t have people they report to. Did you read the books? Lord Inquisitor Rorken was Eisenhorn’s direct “supervisor” and leader of the Oreo Xenos for the Helican Subsector. While Rorken’s master was Lord Inquisitor Orsini who was head of all Inquisitors for the Helican Subsector.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say Malcador was. Yes, Magnus was created for the golden throne, yes Magnus was second only to the Emperor. However, Pre-heresy Magnus was temperamental and immature with his powers. Where as Malcador was a perpetual and had thousands of years of experience with them. Remember, he stopped Horus with a thought. You put Pre-heresy Magnus vs Malcador, I say Malcador. You put No-heresy, Post-Crusade Magnus, who has had time to learn his power and his purpose vs Malacdor, I say Magnus 100%.

What did you read with him you thought was bad? His parts in the HH made me genuinely wish for harm and even more satisfying when he was killed by an awesome character. Pretty well done for a villain. His story is one of how petty resentments and arrogance can lead to a very dark path. And post turn, of the emptiness of obsessive pursuit of of satisfaction and vanity.

They just hear synopsis from lore videos thus missing the point. At least his plot armor makes sense in the lore 😂 but he's no more unkillable than Kharn (also brought back from the dead) or Typhus.
