It's a decent game, but I still prefer the original trilogy. Trials and tribulations is my favorite by far. But apollo justice is still alot better than the newer installments.

My favorite thing about this game was it's art style. The characters looked so detailed and had so much charm. Such a shame Apollo Justice didn't become the successor to the Ace Attorney series.

Obviously they wouldn't redo the engine they already had working on the 3DS (which still has the bigger install base) just for a port. If they do release a new game, it'll most likely be for the Switch, but for a port, I see no reason not to release it on the 3DS.

I understand the complaints people have with the game, but I have to give credit where it’s due - this is probably the most unique in the series in terms of atmosphere, storytelling and characters. It never feels like it’s trying to be too pretentious, and Apollo, while an underwhelming protagonist compared to Phoenix, is still a solid guy. He’s really the type of character you’d like to meet in real life. His dialogue is still relatable to the player. I hate how overshadowed he is by Phoenix. The worst thing this series did was not directly continuing certain cliffhangers this game left off with. The music, animations, and stories are good. The main antagonist is one of the best in all Ace Attorney. It’s just a good game.

dmerkaGU10 Then you're never going to play AAI2 in English. But believe me, you're missing out if you don't play the fan translation. It stays faithful to the series, and if I didn't know if it was a fan translation, I would've thought it was official.

dmerkaGU10 I had this mindset too, initially. But the fan translation actually stays very faithful and had the same charms as the original is, down to the naming of the characters. Plus, I'm willing to say that AAI2 is *the best* Ace Attorney game (story wise), even better than T&T (this is my opinion though, so take it as a grain or heap of salt if you want)
