Voice Acting is only new to Dual Destinies and PL vs AA. The original 3 PW games were on gameboy and then remade on the DS. Apollo Justice was only for the DS. I'm glad Nintendo won't change a lot of the old games; voice acting could ruin the old games if the voices don't fit into the game/ to the characters

TheVGViking. It didn't, other than the standard "objection" and "hold it" like we get already. The thing with the DS versions is that they were just ports of the GBA version of the games with a extra screen to use. And then they also made case 5 for the first game to use the DS features.

The sprites might be high Def, but the Animation doesn't match the look. Makes it look a little... unfinished, really. But hey- Ace attorney is always good. ^^

its not really "HD" the 3ds screen is only 240p on resolution. It looks nice and smooth on a the 3ds screen, i have it and I can say it looks great there. but we can clearly see a diference here on youtube especially from a bigger screen due to the resolution.

I think they should make a reboot of the original trilogy in the new 3D style. A lot of people I know have only played Dual Destinies and maybe Spirit of Justice. It's be an awesome way to bring in new players with updated animations and stuff.

I would very misch like that, I know this game came with a bunch of special goodies such as a drama cd and a special soundtrack in Japan. But sadly Capcom is nothing like Atlus so I doubt we will ever get our hands on those unless we import or something.

BloodySteel64 Sadly, the 1st game is only about investigation. You will use similar methods as in court, but you will never actually stand in court as I remember. The 2nd game must be damn good since you're in court and they dig up things from his past, buuuut there seem to be no plans to release the 2nd game outside Japan....

When I bought this some time ago, I couldn't believe how much I got into this series. lol It's ironic that of all the games I've played in the past 20 years (hundreds of them), for some reason a series involving law is in my top ten. An attorney is one of my most favorite characters now. I never would have imagined this previously. lol And I even went on to buy the fourth that game that was for the DS, but now already on the fifth game. Hope to finish Dual Destinies soon and then I can look forward to the already announced sixth game.

This is a very nice option for those who could't but these games on DS or Wii... I would personally highly reccomend it to any newcomer... But for those who already have these on either the DS or Wii formats, I think it's pointless to buy this collection unless you really want to see the remastered graphics...

Honestly, just get a ROM of the first game, play the first case, and delete it. The gameplay is almost impossible to explain. But it's perfect. Trust me.

I have to agree with Joeyhugg, playing the first case would be the best explanation. It's short (maybe an hour or two) and teaches you everything you'd need to know. It holds your hand through some of the parts, but it gets really challenging when you get later into the game. A short explanation of how it works though: During most of the time in court, you'll be listening to what the witnesses say. Your two options are to A. Ask for more information B. Present an item/evidence that contradicts with their statement. It takes a certain level of attention to detail and cleverness to really find the problems though. There's also segments outside of court, where you investigate the crime scene, which is pretty straightforward.
