That's actually my 60v 10X scooter. I recognize it from the scratches on the front right fork and T bar on the handlebars. They had possession of it on the day of this video. I had sent it back to them under warrantee. Had some controller issues they needed to diagnose. They asked me if I wanted to replace the tires with some fatter ones. I agreed since my tires were bold. I had a flat in the rear so that's why I put slime in it. I'm happy they replaced the rear tube and didn't reuse it. I got it shipped back to me just a few days ago and the fat street tires are great. They have much better cornering grip. I definitely recommend them over the stock ones. Somehow I got it back with missing rear fender though. I wonder what happened to it since he didn't take it off. They're shipping me a new one.

Should I carry this kit at all times while riding? How easy it is to perform out on the road? If I remember right with the Inokim OX you don't have to take the wheel out to replace the tube...
@RevRides3604 жыл бұрын
You are right, with the Inokim OX you do not have to take the wheel off you just need to lay the scooter on its side and use a tire iron to get the job done. Just be sure and check your tire for the cause of the puncture. As for the kit it wouldn't hurt to bring a couple tire irons and a new tube along for the ride, it all depends how comfortable you are with changing the tube on the go. Here is a good video showing how to change the tube on the Inokim OX (kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6vLaGh5rZeFptE). He was very informative for that brand scooter. Thank you for the comment!

Those punctures, looked to be right on the inside seam where the two wheel halves join. On a bicycle wheel, there'd be a tape ring protecting the tube from wearing on the spokes. Is this a flaw in the design? I don't recall the last time I had a flat with my bicycle tires, yet after about 100 km on a scooter, I'm watching this video.
@RevRides3604 жыл бұрын
Hey John, these punctures were on the outside orientation, and there was debris that had punctured the tire and tube in this case. We do not see tubes needing repair because of the inside seam with proper installation, and do not believe this to be an issue in this design.

I was told by Revrides that they wouldn't but falconPEV that all three will, but that you need to get a different rear fender since it isn't wide enough to accommodate any of the hybrid/wide/ off-road tires. I'm interested in the wide or hybrid as well for the rear just to give better traction since the stock ones aren't that great. If you check out kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmG4loWhfMdrbZY he's got the hybrid on his zero10....so they must work.

About to buy the 10x and have been offered the all terrain tyres free of charge fitted to the scooter. About 70% of the time I’ll be riding on the road and the other 30% off road, are the all terrain the best tyres to go for? Also, I’ve read the 10x has a problem with the electric controller deep inside the scooter which heats up and eventually breaks, would love to know if this is common and how to avoid it if possible? Last question is with the tyre wobble at high speeds and the need to buy a dampener kit, is this easy to attach as I’m tech illiterate and could fuck up toasting bread if let near the toaster!

I dont understand. I have the 52 volt version. But I split my rim from left side where the disc brake is. And my valve goes through the rim on the right side. Yours is the other way around

Great but I have an 11X. Is this the same, it if not can you upload a video to show how to change tyres in ann11X? Thanks very much indeed
@RevRides3604 жыл бұрын
Hey David, for the 11X I recommend disconnecting the motor wiring under the deckplate. The other steps are similar. I will put it on the list of videos to be made! -Tyler

Rear Wheel: Is it the outside washers that have the "tongue" or "tab" on them? ..and they go forward?
@RevRides3604 жыл бұрын
Yes, those washers are on the outside of the swingarm, with tabs facing in and towards the deck of the scooter.

I have furo fuze which is pretty much a overpriced copy of kugo m4. I’m having hard time finding solid tyres 10x3 from trusted seller , I currently have standard HOTA tyres but I had 4 punctures in 2 months . My question is will 10x2.5 solid tyre or honeycomb tyre still fit???
