Good clue on why my volt meter won't properly tighten, since came reversed as you reveal. Also good (new to me!) info on 2mm adjustment for hydraulic brake levers. Thanks!

In the front suspension area, when you have the front brake on and you rock the scooter back and forward is there any play/movement in the swing arm? I'm thinkin my front shock is too loose now.. videos like these are what makes KZbin great 💪✅✌️🙏

Hmm that does sounds like it could be the shock itself, also check all of the other bolts in that area. I went the other way and tightened mine to lock-out and it felt a little off. So at the extremes, the adjustment can get a little finicky! Cheers and Thank you SO much!!

one upgrade i love is my thumb throttle, i cant stand the finger one on them, also steering damper is a must for top speed, any chance you have a link for the wrench that tightens the suspension?

I can work on that, unfortunately the Zoom Hydraulics usually have to be bled to make them more responsive. I'd try new pads first if it's been over 500 miles.

@@ElectronSurfer That was the one thing I wanted to avoid. Bleeding Hydraulic Brakes is not something I've ever done and wouldn't know where to start.

I have seen some varla videos when changing from turbo to eco when moving locks up the motors. I’d rather have those buttons on the left side decreasing chances I’d hit it.

Any one know if the circooter raptor has a speed limiter? and how to disable? Just got one and had it out for a rip my top speed maxed out at 42km or about 25mph hoping I can reach a bit faster speed if able to do this thanks

Usually the speed limiters are at 15mph and almost always a grey wire on the controller. If there is another solution, hopefully someone will answer it here. Cheers

It's the Park Tool HCW-5 which would be 46mm, multiple other sizes should fit too.

The rugged clamp typically comes with the shim, it is possible there are other versions to the clamp than what RevRides had, if it works I'd go with it!

Hey man just curious I can’t figure out how to loosen the key slot I want to move it over but I can’t figure out where the bolt is!

The key/voltmeter has a small 2.5 or 3 mm set screw on the back, it is often covered up by the brake lever.I usually have to move the brake lever, move the key, then move the brake back. Let me know if that helps you.

I adjusted my suspension. It was too soft/bouncy in higher speed. Turned it harder, but now it squeeks. Any tips how to get rid of squeeking?

I would imagine you are getting more movement in the suspension pivot point. Some chain lube or wd40 for bikes should help. Just a few drops at the top and bottom and then go for a ride. Let me know if that helps.

How the hell did you get that shim on? I got the rugged clamp. How did you get that stem to fold back on top of that shim???

@Jase Cee, when you drop the shim in there the first time you raise the bars you will have to apply quite a bit of force to move them up and into place. Are you having issues with your rugged clamp?

@@ElectronSurfer hi mate, and thanks for replying. I see no daylight when stem is in place. I did try the shim, but even pressing down on the handlebars, can't fit the bolt back in. It will strip the threads. I've not had any problems since installing the rugged clamp a week ago. No slack or rattle. I thought the shim was only needed if the gear was tightened further. I'm on a lot of bumpy paths on way to work (14 miles there and 14 miles back 😂) so not had anything become slack or need more tightening at the clamp. The rugged clamp is perfect.

@@jasecee8992 Interesting, the shim should not interfere in any way, with the bolt unless you have that bottom of the stem grub screw type stem. Nevertheless, if your stem is solid without the shim cool! My understanding is the shim is just part of the clamp to really give a super solid setup.

I have not reviewed any of those other scooters. I will say that the fact that Varla has done so well with the Eagle One shows how the 10x platform holds up. I would say if it looks like a 10x, it probably comes out of the same factory and if the company is standing behind it, it should be a good option!

The shim goes in the space that open when you fold down the handlebars, it is cut to slip over the base. You have to unbolt the handlebars to slip over the shim.

Perhaps a better buy, I don't think it is a slam dunk better buy. Varla seems to be doing quite well with the rebranded Zero 10x.

I think no one is going to buy these Zero 10X scooters anymore, because the Vsett scooters have been out for a while now.

Tons of Zero 10x variants out there already that need adjustment. Also, the Vsetts have their issues, such as under-foot charge ports, which I hate.

@@bkanegson I don't own either of these scooters but the top charging port on the deck on the Vsett is a no no in my book. Who got the time to make sure you're not stepping on the charging port when out and about enjoying the scooter. It's going to be a paranoiac feeling. Eventually, that port cover will break due to unaware/accidental stepping.

@bkanegson took the words out of my mouth. A lot of used 10x's and variants. I was surprised to hear how many people hated the suspension so I had to chime in with some things to help the 10x, or variant, ride quality.
