@@anaskb1798 Nice reasoning. There are things in the bible that can't be explained within the existing known laws of the universe. Jesus appearing in a locked room. Phillip's movement from Jeruselam?? To the place where he met the Etheopian. The standard explanation is that the Spirit did these things. I can accept that. But it has to be considered that the Spirit did these things within the confines of the physical world. So there are (i could be wrong) only three explanations. 1.we dont know all the laws that govern movement in this universe or 2. The Spirit broke the laws of the physical universe. 3.that the laws can be bent. The other thing they keep saying is that they trust science. Science believes an evolutionary view of the world. Science also believes the universe to be 13b years old. Science believes in climate change. Lots of Christians don't believe these things because they don't fit with a biblical world view. So no, on the big questions we generally speaking don't trust science. Lastly, the believe in extra terrestrial beings doesn't necessaerly preclude belief in Jesus. In fact it could be argued that believing we are the center of the universe and the only intelligence that has ever or will ever exist places us, not God, at the center of our view of the universe. Why is it always about us? I don't think believing such things precludes faith in Christ. I'm not saying I believe in aliens, I'm just arguing philosophically.

She is incorrect at 26.50 Bob Lazar does explain why element 115 doesn't decay. The answer is that every element has different variants called isotopes. All anyone has to do to prove Lazar's MIT connection, I would imagine, would be to simply ask him "Tell us something specific about MIT that only someone who was physics major would know." Everyone who goes to college has stories about their time on campus. He could reference specific details about a lab, for example, or professors, or tiny details about anything at all at MIT. What computer system did he use as a student? What was the color and shape of the storage cabinet in one of the labs he worked in at MIT? Who were some of his teachers? If his answer is simply "I don't remember anything" then his MIT story is BS, because everyone remembers some things about college. But nobody who interviews him ever asks these questions, and I have no idea why nobody ever thinks about this.

Cultish, I have really come to appreciate your podcasts and how you educate the body of Christ about various cults and how to engage them in meaningful conversation. I have been listening to apologia ministries for years now and sincerely appreciate the work that each of you carry out. However, this podcast was very poorly done. It is clear that you have not done your research into the various fields of science, particularly physics which would have been extremely important to know during minute 29:00. The "shelogians." completely misrepresented what Bob Lazar actually stated about element 115 contained in the documentary. The claim of Bob Lazar is that he was hired at S-4 to reverse engineer the propulsion system (what makes it fly) of the UFO contained within the military installation. What Bob says he discovered is that element 115 was the source of the anti-gravity propulsion system. He also explains in detail how this enables the craft to travel at the speed of light without taking on mass (theory of relativity). The entire point Bob Lazar is trying to make is that the United States government has extraterrestrial technology that could literally change the world and how we understand physics. So, obviously, there would not be a way to empirically prove the claims of Bob Lazar. Lazar never once claims that he saw extraterrestrials. Still, he does, however, lead the audience to that conclusion because of the technology he claims he worked very closely with and how it is so far beyond what we are currently able to understand. Lazar also says multiple times that the information he was given was compartmentalized and that a lot of what was told to him through briefings concerning the origins of the craft coming from zeta reticuli could very well have been disinformation. There is a lot of information about element 115 since its discovery and induction to the periodic table. Bob Lazar is not a cult leader, and those who believe him are not cult followers. I can understand why you would want to speak about this; who wouldn't? I do not understand why you're trying to represent that Bob is somehow insane when a lot of his claims can be substantiated. I understand that we cannot empirically prove the notion that the government has extraterrestrial technology or that element 115 does what he claims. This does not negate the fact that Bob lazar worked where he said he worked and is an actual scientist. So, what should we be asking? 1. If Bob is lying, then why? 2. Can we scientifically disprove the notion of an anti-gravity emitter using the laws of physics? 3. Can we empirically prove the government has secretly been working on technology that is so far advanced it would allow us to travel vast distances in the Universe? 4. If extraterrestrials exist, how do we as Christians deal with the issue? So, the people of cultish, if you have any questions about this or concerns, please send me a DM. I would also like to put in this information that I am a recent graduate of Regent University with a B.S. in cyber-security with a concentration on physics.

@Rumbert Dillahuntsville I don't know for sure if Lazar is a fraud of not though I know the general explanation to the "why's" he's simply a UFO nut can be themselves explained, personally I came to know about Lazar some time after I've personally witnessed a "craft" which I can simply describe as a classic flying saucer, where the most striking element of it was in the way it moved, which is virtually indescribable, the way it would stop & suddenly lurch wherever it wanted with a slight bobble in it's change in altitude. I don't know what it is though I can understand people assuming it's Aliens.
@perseverance84 жыл бұрын
@Rumbert Dillahuntsville Absolutely, he could've invented the whole story, people invent stories all the damn time, it's obvious the UFO subject is full of it's woo-woo bull cock stories, though something's going on, I'm not in a position to even tell myself what the hell I witnessed but I can say it's as real as the device I'm tapping away at to reply to you're comment in the same way many others in the world including now more credible witnesses such as navy pilots where the government's whom employ them are apparently softening their tone on the issue away from long running periods of denying the fact they were interested in any reporting of unidentified flying what the fuck.

Totally gear what you're saying about "It doesn't mean it's Aliens why is everyone so hyped about Lazar being proved correct" . Totally. But I guess you have to take into account that people were saying the guy was a janitor at a las Vegas casino and EVERYTHING he said was BS. So now that over the years its been confirmed that : They did scrub his records They did use the hand bone tech He DID work at area 51 and lost Alimos. He DID know the Area 51 layout and logistics of how you get to work. Element 115 DOES exist. He explained they never knew how it could be used with a short Half-Life. They did threaten his wife. His friends were intimidated. He DID know to the minute when they were testing whatever those aircraft were that were turning at 70 degree angles. He DID know that Gravity works in waves. He knew they were short waves. I agree none of this gives us solid proof that Alien craft existed at groom lake. BUT it certainly validates a HELL OF ALOT of what people for 30 years berated and ridiculed him about. Also people ridiculed and accused his supporters of liars. I'd say there's more proof that Lazar worked at groom lake and worked on one compartmentalized part of a craft, than there is for God.

Where does it lead?” And also his response in saying that we can only have true, genuine use of science, logic, etc. on the Christian worldview while believing in aliens and ufos is a worldview which cannot have basic laws of physics. Also, the women on the left, her explanation of the alien traveling at light speed which would take millions of years-excellent! Such good wisdom. Thank you, Apologia church. All glory be to Christ.

Bob Lazar sounds like a real scientist with scientific authority unless you’re actually a scientist or have a decent higher education science background, at which point he sounds like a goon. His discussion on JRE about gravity as a wave or a particle is a particularly good example. Nothing Lazar says requires more knowledge than one year of freshman general chemistry and general physics at a university.

If you'd done research on these people as well as the podcast and show overall, you would know that: A) this is a faith based podcast from people who believe in the God of the Bible And B) the entire point of this show is to take the belief and take it up against scripture.

This is sounding like the evolution and Genesis debate. A Christian cannot believe and see the natural science world in one without being cast out by the denizens and purists of the other. Whereas with the brain God gave us it's impossible, sooner or later, not to find the Holy Spirit in it all. Including Bob Lazar's thoughts on the subject. My pastor gave a sermon just on this, because of my stuckness in the issues. He said "God is saying to you... Please don't leave your common sense at the door when you come to Church. Ive looked into this issue deeply and try to do it from a Christian point of view and think that too many people dismiss his story without really looking at the evidence. But i also don’t blame them because it is a deep rabbit hole to research and there are more important topics to study in the Bible so I give you guys a C+ for trying. I always read the comments on these videos. I’m a fan of this show! It’s interesting that in the comments section fans of the said cult will usually comment. All the comments on this video tells me that this cult has many passionate followers and Bob Lazar has become a “perfect” man who cannot lie. The only one ☝️ who didn’t lie was Jesus. Every person has lied and so has Bob Lazar. Anyone who is on the Joe Rogan podcast is suspicious to me. Joe isn’t “rebellious” he has millions of followers. His show has an agenda 📔. He leading people to a dark place. Just like this shows’ agenda is to interpret these cults through a biblical worldview. So many people will blindly follow a man. There's no such thing as hypnosis in the sense of being under the control of something else other than yourself. Hypnosis is nothing more than a label for what is simply, only a committment exercise. If you are of sound mind and body, your are always in complete 100% control of that exercise. How far will you commit? Never to the point of harm. Unless of course you are a psychopath.

32:14 yes usually the simplest explanation is the truth...apply that to the Jesus claims. Also, immediately following that statement the bearded guy suggests that just because the bone scanner exists doesn’t mean space aliens...pretty sure this guy has made claims that because the biblical accounts of burial practices are historically accurate it suggests Jesus resurrected and is god in flesh. Hilarious what people choose to be skeptical about while being completely un-skeptical about other beliefs they hold.

Girl on the left... you’ve got to do some more research on what he’s said before you make claims that he hadn’t explained element 115. He’d spoken about thermodynamics on this, different isotope versions of the same element which cause variations of it to be unstable, and even how scientist before him theorized there was an island of stability around element 114-116 and element 220-225 where the element doesn’t not break down and cause radiation. You really need to do some more listening before saying that stuff.
