First of all, Debbie is absolutely a very sweet woman. Second, this is a very wise approach with Mormons. Bravo. In my early 20s I was engaged to a Mormon. I truly had no idea the differences until I attended their services. During their "school" time, the teacher was discussing "Spirit Worlds". I asked him to show me the scripture in which 7 Spirit Worlds were mentioned. Long story shirt, I was escorted out of the classroom. Shortly after I met a group of ex-Mormons who shared with me that LDS teaches Jesus & Satan are brothers. When I tried to witness the truth to my fiance, he grabbed my Bible out of my hand and I threw it into the fireplace. Thankfully it was summer so no fire. I hope Debbie and her husband learn the truth. God bless you all.

The mormon people seem as good people but they are using the coat tails of the true God to further an agenda,, the only true church theres, no salvation without there priesthood. They use Christ Ian's words ,, but have totaly different meanings,,, heavenly father,,, once was a man just like them,, and there heavenly father had a heavenly father as they do today ,that became a God Capitol G ,and they with the priesthood will some day become Gods.. Your out of luck ....jesus wasent enough. There Jesus is there brother not God just as satan is, by means of heavenly father having spirit children with polygamist wives in heaven and children sent to earth into human parents. So when they and other religions say Yes we believe in Jesus to ,, it is important. Only one jesus saves to the utmost only one God is real and if you choose for yourself a false God that false god cannot save anything,, only the true and living God saves. So religions that hide scew there beliefs change definitions of words to deceive you as many do they lead people to hell. But GOD brings his true believers out,, all that remains are people that want the lies of the SERPENT you can become like God , didnt work for Adam or Eve and it will not work for them. Lord Lord haven't we done many great works in your name? Be gone from me ye that work iniquity, I never knew you,, be gone , all that you have done is use my name for your false god. And they know it,,,, but not all of them. Satan appears as an angel of light,, if he come looking like the devil you would run so sweet DECEPTION is the only option left... Make the works APPEAR Godly....

@@cc3775 So all of the "I AM" statements of Christ and the direct parallels He used (i.e. Son of Man, among other titles only reserved for one who receives worship) from the Old Testament to speak about Himself are just the machinations of men?
@cc3775
@cc3775 2 жыл бұрын
@@douglasmcnay644 Trinitarians argue that this verse states that Jesus said he was the “I am” (i.e., the Yahweh of the Old Testament), so he must be God. That argument is not correct. Saying “I am” does not make a person God. The man born blind that Jesus healed was not claiming to be God, and he said “I am the man,” and the Greek reads exactly like Jesus’ statement, i.e., “I am.” The fact that the exact same phrase is translated two different ways, one as “I am” and the other as “I am the man,” is one reason it is so hard for the average Christian to get the truth from just reading the Bible as it has been translated into English. Most Bible translators are Trinitarian, and their bias appears in various places in their translation, this being a common one. Paul also used the same phrase of himself when he said that he wished all men were as “I am” (Acts 26:29). Thus, we conclude that saying “I am” did not make Paul, the man born blind or Christ into God. C. K. Barrett writes: Ego eimi [“I am”] does not identify Jesus with God, but it does draw attention to him in the strongest possible terms. “I am the one-the one you must look at, and listen to, if you would know God.” [1] 2. The phrase “I am” occurs many other times in the New Testament, and is often translated as “I am he” or some equivalent (“I am he”-Mark 13:6; Luke 21:8; John 13:19; 18:5, 6 and 8. “It is I”-Matt. 14:27; Mark 6:50; John 6:20. “I am the one I claim to be”-John 8:24 and 28.). It is obvious that these translations are quite correct, and it is interesting that the phrase is translated as “I am” only in John 8:58. If the phrase in John 8:58 were translated “I am he” or “I am the one,” like all the others, it would be easier to see that Christ was speaking of himself as the Messiah of God (as indeed he was), spoken of throughout the Old Testament. At the Last Supper, the disciples were trying to find out who would deny the Christ. They said, literally, “Not I am, Lord” (Matt. 26:22 and 25). No one would say that the disciples were trying to deny that they were God because they were using the phrase “Not I am.” The point is this: “I am” was a common way of designating oneself, and it did not mean you were claiming to be God. 3. The argument is made that because Jesus was “before” Abraham, Jesus must have been God. There is no question that Jesus figuratively “existed” in Abraham’s time. However, he did not actually physically exist as a person; rather he “existed” in the mind of God as God’s plan for the redemption of man. A careful reading of the context of the verse shows that Jesus was speaking of “existing” in God’s foreknowledge. Verse 56 is accurately translated in the King James Version, which says: “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.” This verse says that Abraham “saw” the Day of Christ, which is normally considered by theologians to be the day when Christ conquers the earth and sets up his kingdom. That would fit with what the book of Hebrews says about Abraham: “For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God” (Heb. 11:10). Abraham looked for a city that is still future, yet the Bible says Abraham “saw” it. In what sense could Abraham have seen something that was future? Abraham “saw” the Day of Christ because God told him it was coming, and Abraham “saw” it by faith. Although Abraham saw the Day of Christ by faith, that day existed in the mind of God long before Abraham. Thus, in the context of God’s plan existing from the beginning, Christ certainly was “before” Abraham. Christ was the plan of God for man’s redemption long before Abraham lived. We are not the only ones who believe that Jesus’ statement does not make him God: To say that Jesus is “before” him is not to lift him out of the ranks of humanity but to assert his unconditional precedence. To take such statements at the level of “flesh” so as to infer, as “the Jews” do that, at less than fifty, Jesus is claiming to have lived on this earth before Abraham (8:52 and 57), is to be as crass as Nicodemus who understands rebirth as an old man entering his mother’s womb a second time (3:4). [2] 4. In order for the Trinitarian argument that Jesus’ “I am” statement in John 8:58 makes him God, his statement must be equivalent with God’s “I am” statement in Exodus 3:14. However, the two statements are very different. While the Greek phrase in John does mean “I am,” the Hebrew phrase in Exodus actually means “to be” or “to become.” In other words God is saying, “I will be what I will be.” Thus the “I am” in Exodus is actually a mistranslation of the Hebrew text, so the fact that Jesus said “I am” did not make him God. 5. Trinitarians claim that the Jews picked up stones to stone Jesus because he was claiming to be God (John 8:59), but that is an assumption. There is a different explanation that is supported by better evidence: the Jews picked up stones to kill Jesus because they understood he was claiming to be the Messiah. At Jesus’ trial, the High Priest asked, “I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God” (Matt. 26:63). First of all, we should notice that no one at the trial asked Jesus if he were God. However, if they thought he had been claiming to be God, that would have certainly been a question they would have asked. The High Priest asked Jesus in very clear terms if he was the Christ because that is what the Jews knew Jesus was claiming to be. Second, when the Jews heard Jesus’ clear answer (“Yes, it is as you say”), they accused him of blasphemy and said, “He is worthy of death” (Matt. 26:66). They felt he was worthy of death in the record in John 8, but in that record they picked up stones to kill him, while after hearing his “blasphemy” at the trial, they took him to Pilate and got the Romans to execute Jesus.

I declined because of my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, Im all alone. I’m a single mother. Both of my sons are autistic and non verbal. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I’m so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I post my story all over to spread awareness of what mandates are doing, not just to myself but to many other families. I’ve been put down and mocked because of my circumstances it truly hurts me. BUT even after all these things. I STILL HAVE FAITH GOD WILL PROVIDE. He has sent strangers to help me. I feel your pain. Today I was thrown out by a doctor, bc of my critic about her covid histeria. I was not good in my aproach and sorry for that. There are moments, where I don't react as I should. I wasn't too agressive. But I was too direct. They are a cult. They really don't see what's coming for all of us. Just look at poor china. They want to enslave us like in Orwells book. I have a cold. And all she can think is covid. Then she want to test me with this frauds tests from china. She could just test me like a normal doctor by looking inside my mouth and so on. They are so blinded. I feel like this crazy guys living on the streets warning for the apocalypse. But nobody takes them serious. Like in some older movies from the 90s. God bless you. I'll pray for you. They can kill the body. But not our souls. I know, its not helping. I'm sorry. I'm not gonna lying. I'm scared of the times before us. I have 2 wonderfull sons and their mother is sadly not saved, a nihilist and runs from the truth. We are devided since 2016. I try to warn her, but she don't wanna listen. She once said, that I'm a secterian. The irony is amazing. One of the many signs of the endtimes is, that somehow we are the crazy people. And all the deluded wicked ones are the normal. Anyway, God bless you all.

Hello my dear brothers and sisters! I’m surprised! This is really on KZbin! I didn’t know I was being filmed for the most part and I did get nervous but it’s been very enlightening for me. I want to thank you all so much for being so kind and loving to me! I’m grateful for the kind comments Ive received for my music and my voice and for me! Thank you! You truly have the light of Christ in you! May God always be with you and bless you all! I made a few mistakes I’m embarrassed about and I need to fix one of them right now. There is God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Ghost. They are as one. I made other mistakes and I apologize for my weakness. I do need to strive more and pray to understand the teachings in our scriptures. Our world is getting so crazy and war is raging against all Christians. I’m so grateful that the gospel of Jesus Christ never changes and we have scriptures to guide us to choose the right. I just wish there wasn’t so much confusion! This is a major part of our test here. How will we treat others that don’t think like we want them too? People here have shown me love! I admire that so much! I would love to be a part of an interfaith event where nothing but the love of Jesus Christ and love for each other can be felt. We may have some differences. We’ve seen our differences all up and down the universe. We can all agree, that God loves each and everyone of us and He hears and answers our prayers! The more of us that can all pray together for our country to be saved from the devastation of Satans evil plans and his secret combinations the more we can all be saved. We can be United for this purpose. Let’s bring Christians together and save this promised land! We have been blessed to be here at this time. Let’s win the war against Satan together! This is my dream and it’s my fathers dream. I’ll also add that my father has passed away but he was a great teacher of Jesus Christ and he was also a health missionary. I love to carry on his example. His favorite song was “Let There Be Peace On Earth”. He asked mixed denomination audiences to sing along together in every meeting he held. I invite you to sing it too! You have been a light to me! Thank you! 🙏❤️🙏 Let There Be Peace On Earth www.dropbox.com/s/x49zkix1x7hxbo9/Debbie%20West%20Coon%20-%20Let%20There%20Be%20Peace%20V3-211111-1644.wav?dl=0

Hello, Debbie. We must understand who Jesus Christ is and who He is not to have our faith aligned correctly. Before the beginning, He existed as the Word by which the cosmos was created. He was born as God incarnate to live a perfect life as a man to qualify to be an acceptable sacrifice to atone for mankind's fallen state of sin. Because death had no power over Him, he arose out of the tomb and ascended to the right hand of the Father, subsequently sending God the Holy Spirit to empower Christians to follow after Jesus Christ in faith. Because of His sacrifice on the cross and conquest over death, those who receive the gift of eternal salvation must worship Jesus Christ as God, for He is the only way to the Father (He and the Father are God; He, the Father, and Holy Spirit are God). Jesus is not merely a good teacher, prophet, or angel. Jesus Christ is both fully man and fully God. I hope this helps and encourage you to ask the Lord in your prayers to clarify who He is so you can follow Jesus as a disciple and grow spiritually. In addition, as disciples of Christ, we must study the scriptures daily, asking the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Truth) to teach us their meaning and allow Him to transform us into the image of Christ.

Hi Debbie! I listened to one of your songs and God gave you a gift of singing. One thing to consider. Because God is the truth who alone declares reality, that means are line of reasoning from earth to His throne must be without error or contradiction, otherwise how can we know the One who alone declares the truth? Also, I'm assuming we both agree that God is Almighty and perfect--consider this--how can we come to know the perfect Almighty God if He could not get His word right the first time? Where does it end if man can corrupt His word? Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end (Genesis and Revelation). Then some centuries later we have the Roman Catholic Church, then Islam, then Mormonism, and the Jehovah's Witnesses. Who was the one who started the first and greatest rebellion in heaven? Lucifer, now known as Satan. He is the author of confusion. Jesus Christ plainly says for us to deny ourselves daily and pickup our cross and follow Him. Let us do that, and what error could we be in? We cannot love our family, friends, religion, or even our own lives more than the truth! God bless you Debbie! I hope this message finds you well...

Hey Debbie, What a beautiful response. I hope you will come to the truth that you don't need to keep striving for perfection. The whole point of the true gospel is that we can never be perfect and that is why God sent His Son to be perfect for us. Jesus lived a perfect sinless life for us and then took all our sins upon Himself on the cross when He died for us. He is our perfect substitute in every way. He gives His perfection to anyone who believes in Him. This is how he saves us and why He is our Savior. There is no more striving but rather trusting in Jesus Christ, God in the flesh who has paid it all for us. The gospel is all about Jesus, Who He is and what He alone has accomplished. "It is Finished". Jesus is everything that you need, our High Priest who lives forever to intercede on our behalf. May God bless you and may The Truth set you free!!

Hello Hay Day, Thank you for your comments. I am loving this opportunity to hear you testify of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I am concerned that people believe that they don’t need to strive for perfection. What else do we have to do with our lives than to try to do it better every day? If we strive for perfection, we can better our lives and bless the lives of others. We won’t be perfect in this lifetime I know that. But I do believe we can always better ourselves and perfect ourselves and as we do our lives would be better all the time. Practice makes perfect. We fall all the time, we need to pick ourselves up, brush ourselves off forgive ourselves as we are forgiven and keep trying to do it better even if it’s again and again and again we should never give up. Life is Eternal. Jesus said, “Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect. This means He has asked us to strive for that perfection. He would not ask us if it was unachievable and we do have Eternity. To make perfection our goal is in our best interest. When we strive, we realize just how weak we are and how much we need our Savior in our lives. We are more humbled and become closer to Him. I know this is true and I also know more than ever how much Jesus Christ loves me and each and everyone of us. I hope this makes sense and helps to understand why I want to strive for perfection. I’m far from being perfect but I know I should keep trying.

The first three and a half minutes are so telling. The lady begins by confidently asserting that all present are Christians and follow the same Jesus as if even the notion of 'another Jesus' is something never to be considered. By the end of that three and a half minutes she is flustered, conflating word meanings, confused over the plain reading of Scripture and even saying that she needs to call her husband to come and help. The person of Jesus is the point at which most conversations with Mormons, Christadelphians, Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims, Hindus and others - wherever another Jesus is believed upon - should begin.

@@lordofthered1257 Where in John ? Is the trinity mentioned somewhere in the old testament ? I do not think so. God could have said: " I am one and I am three" but He never said that. Not even once !

Best Mormon response I heard after leaving the church almost 8 years ago but her and her husband did such a great job with there answers in truly surprised. Yeah they could of got into deeper stuff but that would of made her run away or in a bad mood very interesting approach. Maybe can get them back for a few more and slowly hit on other subjects and let them lead to an extent then finish strong

Don't lie about recording tho.. 🤦🏻‍♂

Yeah, I wondered about that. I wonder if within groups they alternate recording different people, and if, for whatever reason they didn’t realize this session was being recorded. Why lie? It would be great to see Apologia acknowledge this and clear up whatever happened there. I appreciate the boldness and thorough studying of scripture that goes into this, but I’m certain they don’t wish to deceive people. There’s no need for that here. That aside, I applaud these two for their loving and insightful interaction. A blessing to see and I hope they keep it up.

Apologia. You need to respond to this, or risk losing your credibility. Viewers, we need to demand a response from them.

As a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. (LDS church) The answer to this gentleman’s question “Did Jesus create all things?” Is YES. The reason why is because of the fact that Jesus Christ and Jehovah are the exact same person. “32. By the word of my power, have I created them, which is Mine Only Begotten Son, who is full of gave and truth 33. And worlds without number have I created; and I also created them for mine own purpose; and by the Son I created them, which is mine Only Begotten. “ Moses 1: 32-33 “16. For by him we’re all things created, that are in heaven, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities or powers: all things were created by him and for him: 17. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” -Colossians 1:12-17 “2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” - Hebrews 1:2 And here is the answer to how Jesus and Jehovah are one. 58. Jesus said unto them verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am. -John 8: 58

She says "exactness" and that she's sad that our search for it causes us to put up "walls." Exactness indeed. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13-14. "Walls" are necessary because there is a truth which is extremely "exact" and therefore differentiation is absolutely necessary.

I am christian andI find it really sad that Apologia studios records the street conversations without telling people they are recording the conversations. This is sneaky! Also if you have a public youtube channel and you upload a video where both Oscar and the lady lie to the person you could stand up to that lie and write and apology. No one wants to be recorded without knowledge.

yea that was weird...but i mean Oscar (the guy in the video) did comment that a group of 40 of them were all mic'd up so they didn't know if their conversation was gonna be chosen to be recorded. not sure if they did but it would be nice to give each person a heads up that they may be recorded during their interaction with Apologia studios

Her deflection from the truth was her jokingly attitude. It's apparent she has no solid foundation and is nervously dodging questions. Good job to those questioning her belief.
