I know why they (at least some) reject God. Initially it’s because the representatives of Christ and God are poor examples of Christ or God believers. They are judgmental, harsh, unkind, racist at times.. unloving… I and my family met these types. My family has rejected God. I have not. I have a better understanding now of humanity and our sin nature. I can only hope to be a better follower than those I give examples of. Unkindness is our enemy. The seven deadly sins: greed, anger, lust, envy, sloth, pride, and gluttony.

Amazing Jack only missed a few Sundays. If you have been watching since before Covid or go back and watch previous years worth, Jack suffered for a few years with horrible head pain and serious insomnia . He was very sick for a few years. Jack is an inspiration and watching his sermons has grown my understanding and faith by leaps and bounds .

Pastor Jack Hibbs has been phenomenal and teaching me things through the book of Hebrews that I have studied before but I’ve got golden Nuggets from just by listening to him. I was a truly born again Christian, who lost everything in my life. I was angry with God and did things I regret because my heart was so broken and my circumstances turned desperate. It has taken me a long time to to trust God and ask for His healing-I haven’t been able to trust a church again as I was so deeply hurt by the Pastor who was my unfaithful husband, and his part in leaving me homeless, and my three sons who allied with him as did the church. My sons have still, years later not wanted a relationship with me, and their father is still preaching (at another church, and remarried). I am now at this time, years later more in love with Jesus than I ever was in my previous life as a “pastors wife”, but the Scripture studied tonight has me worrying about that horrible time in my life where instead of trusting God, I got angry and was weak and turned away from God. I know I am forgiven, just shocked I did not hold to my faith when the storms came. Long story-just wondering if “Church” is even possible for me since I have PTST even thinking about going again.

My pastor only asked about my tithe check if i was gone for awhile. Thats all i was to him. I asked for 12 yrs to be involved. The response i got each time , was we'll get back to you. Finally left. One or 2 people ask of me but no one else. I have visited all the non denomination churches multiple times. One teaches dei, another totally messes up the scriptures and is a progressive church. The other is just give your $. And sit. Be quiet. I live in a small town. I don't want to drive an hour to church. So i listen to Jack, Jan Markel and her guests, Amir, etc.

Beautiful reference to hearing God speak while looking up at the stars at night. I can really get into not only the stars, but running creeks and blue jays crying out "Thank you!" when they come and pick up the peanuts I leave them. I have been listening to this series today because I'm at a point where i do not feel the Holy spirit, and i feel hopeless and like Hell is inevitable. some would say that me turning to God would be a sign that the Holy spirit lives within me. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior at an early age. To this day I can remember the doubt I felt. Everyone else seemed to feel a weight lifted or something to that affect. I did not, I felt like I was just going with the crowd. I must have re-dedicated my life to God five times or more and each time I ended up going back to my sin. I really need to talk to someone more extensively.

i am giving up since i left wof, then one morning in 2017 i woke up and the " Holy Spirit" had departed. I thought then He departed. I was totally empty, and i´m still totally spiritual empty. I think i never were saved. But received another spirit. But now for the last seven years i´ve tried to come to God, but nothing happens!? I´m still spiritually empty, i have NO connection, No conviction of sin etc. I must be an apostacy! Unsalvageable! I have given up SO many times on trying to get saved. He seem to refuse to save me! And i have a lot of demons on my body torturing me...i don´t seem to be able to repent. I know these demons doing their job to manipulate my feelings and my will, and of course even my flesh so..but i have no remorse. I must be an apostacy. I do believe but i can´t have true faith in God to save me and to care for me. That must be apostacy!

Go everywhere you can and ask for prayer. Stop telling yourself what you have said here. Approach Christ using your mind and heart. Cry out to Him. Tell yourself a different story. Reject the thoughts and convictions that pull you back into this living hell. This is a moment by moment thing. You MAY fail over and over again. There will be successes that slowly build. God is with you. You would not be alive unless God willed it so. Focus on the hunger you have for the Lord. You would not be here except that you hunger for God. God is with you. Learn to be accepting of that. God bless you in Jesus name it is so! Amen.

I know i´ve visit many cch in my country surching for the right doctrine. But i will still listen to your advice and stop thinking these thoughts and begin to believe God is with me and that He loves me. I have contact with a man who work for this cch in Chino Hills and have done that for the last 30 years. But its good to hear from others too that say the same as him. The sermon is awesome but I personally feel there are a few contradictions. If you are person who continues to sin (for example, like apostle Paul who denied Christ 3 times (habitual) wouldn’t that be a sin of the high hand ? Or even a multiple sin of the mind ( like adultery) ? Would that be a ‘sin of the higher hand’ ? Who would be able to be saved? We are all sinners (even though we are Christians) until the moment we die. If anyone can shed some light on this comment, please chime in. God bless all Christians !

Do you think maybe all these pastors that have fallen away from the Lord will be left to raise up those who are left behind in the tribulation people that we love that have no guidance that need help with the Bible because they’ve never really spent time in it? I could go to church, I have one within walking distance but I don't understand the language. That's not the worst, I don't believe the theology. The have a lesbian bishop, the 1st issue is she's a woman and the 2nd problem it embraces homosexuality. I can't agree and be support that. That's what I understand... when He comes back...meaning, His Second coming. The rapture occurs next though. He doesn't touch ground at the rapture, just calls the Saints Home. His second coming occurs after the days of Tribulation and Christ Jesus feet will touch down and split the Mount of Olives. At least, that is what I understand from reading His Word.

Everyone who is interested is given a revelation, a dream, a missionary, or a mother. You either draw nearer to Him or you keep ignoring Him. Romans tells us the very creation attests to the glory and reality of GOD and His invisible attributes. You either read His WORD to get to know His heart. Or you Choose to deny to bend your knee to the sovereign King. He sent His Son to die a painful and humiliating death on a cross to pay for our sins - and proved He is God when He rose again from the dead. There is nothing more He can do. If people choose to ignore and stomp on that love offering in willful disobedience, all we can do is pray and keep trying to reach them - they must choose to turn from sin and trust Him.

This is a lack of knowledge. God will judge according to the opportunities somebody has heard, and he is fair. I heard a story about a lady in Saudi Arabia who was Muslim, where it is illegal to promote or share any other religion except Islam with the death penalty, so virtually no missionaries go there. She was Muslim as this was all she knew, but was open. She heard a knock at the door one day, and literally opened the door to a man who she believes was actually Jesus (or possibly an Angel) who shared the full biblical gospel with her, and she got saved, and left Islam.

If you can, have her watch the movie The Case for Christ. It's a true story about Lee Strobel's search to try and disprove of Jesus' existence. He was very much against the idea of Jesus after his wife got saved and in his pursuit to discredit the Bible, he ended up getting saved because he couldn't find evidence to discredit the Bible. It's an awesome testimony. God bless and I'll pray for her.

Going to church doesn't not equate to salvation, after you have seen the churches in my region, you'll understand why I don't want to attend any of them. My original church I grew up in, ended up having the pastors daughter take over after he had a stroke, "doctor pastor" daughter, proceeds to bring crazier and crazier speaker, as she proceeds to get "drunk in the spirit" and fire tunnels. Other churches near by are so watered down they are more concerned with entertainment, having "easter" and Halloween services, using bethel music, and copying mega preachers like Carl Lentz and Steven furtick, word of faith, and little gods teachings, and only taking about wealth. But I'm sorry when your worship leader is actively getting tattoos and playing worldy music in bars, and or dying on stage from a heart attack in their 30s, and being the brother of the main pastor, ya no I don't want anything to do with the churches in my region.
