Where are these Drs that go help out ppl in other countries? I wish I could help more with these ppl where are the dentists who could help these ppl ? I watch as these rich ppl go to other countries and help but nothing for ppl for the citizens from a country who made them rich !! I swear ppl are mixed up we are sending billions to other places who have so much but our tax dollars aren't going to our own ppl. I know one thing millions of ppl in this country have much to answer for maybe not in this lifetime but into your next one you might be living like these dear ppl. We will care for illegals, we bring in ppl from the Damn middle east and give them our money, we pay corporations big corporate welfare but nothing on the news not one word about our own CITIZENS suffering. Very sad that the American government can turn the backs on their people. Also realize it is also the American people who do try to help are fooled by certain programs like Operation Shoe Box. I was fooled by this....I was told to fill a shoe box filled with necessities and anything that would fit. I did that feeling like I did a great thing. The Church that was involved and picked up 100 shoe boxes...I asked questions to find out Those shoe boxes were not going anywhere in the USA......but oversees! I was completely heartbroken!!!

I think that they really have the idea of help backwards. Toys and packaged food. When they help orphans in Africa they sent laborers and built orphanages and small homes, schools. They gave them livestock like goats, seeds to grow...etc....same thing in Mexico. But here they bring them toys and packaged food goods. While they are living in a burned out house. They used to be farmers. Self-sufficient. Poor but self-sufficient. When they started building the railroad they took their first wage jobs, lost the work they used to do. Food, toys, blankets and Jesus is fine. But, please share BOOKS and role models and take action! Multi-millionaire celebrities build schools and homes for people in other countries. WHAT ABOUT THE UNITED STATES? Educate these people. Education is the key. Teach them not to have children they can’t even feed, my God! Help them build a damn school and incentivize kids to go to college for free, return to their communities and keep increasing the numbers of Appalachia’s population who get the heck out of there, and become upwardly mobile and live a better life. It is great what they are doing, but I don't think they should be broadcasting it, making the recipients the prized pigs so they can take credit for all they do. Do it quietly and humbly, and without tooting your own horn. God sees what you do. You dont have to broadcast it.

One of the ways to educate people who know nothing about the needs of these people is to do these documentaries. I am sure there are many folks seeing this effort on behalf of Dove will be either donating or helping in some way. I totally endorse these broadcasts as they show the viewers who do donate how their charity is being utilized as well. There is much more to be done for sure, but these folks are doing what they can. Please, those who feel that Dove is exposing these folks, think about what you can do with your energies to help.
