Loved the series. When I saw the spot you picked my first thought was 'You cant build there' as Ive wanted to do the same myself. Love the end result. Brilliant idea too, cant wait for more. How good would it be if we had a storyline with Julie in it and we help her out in some way. Would be great to bring alot more of these people to life.

Phenomenal FB. Glad to see you back at it. I haven't looked at the build series yet, but I'll watch it when I get some free time. Love this concept and how you laid it out. It all came together perfectly. My favorite part is the recording room itself. It really stands out but always blends in with the build too, if that makes sense. Lol. Great work as always.

Sadly, no. Even though the pumpkin model has been in the game since day 1, you'll never see them. Thing is, plantable crops put enormous stress on the servers, especially when a lot of people make large fields...which happened a lot in the beginning. Sadly, they'd need a major rework and better servers before additional plantable crops will be viable.

Ah. I'm no dev, but why would there be more strain on the servers if it had to render pumpkins as opposed to, say, melons? I'm not asking for more budget to add pumpkins, just treat them the same as any other crop.

@@Fuzz-Brain because it isn't pumpkins OR melons, it's pumpkins AND melons...and cranberries and sootflowers and ash roses and mutated ferns etc... I mean, next time you hop around CAMPs for whatever reason, take note of how many each person plants. If they start adding more, people WILL start expecting/demanding all plants to be added and it will get out of control. The problem for the servers is keeping track of what's regrown, what hasn't and exactly where it is in the worldspace. And we should all know by now that their engine isn't exactly reliable at cleaning up unused coding. The core of the problem is that the gardening system is still running on FO4's code and it doesn't play well with an online game, add quantity to a lack of quality and it will be a disaster. They need to rebuild the system from scratch, but that would take a lot of time and resources that are very limited for 76 and for something that doesn't really add any new content, it isn't a high priority. So, the system will be left as is indefinitely, or until they think they have enough evergreen content to spend the time revamping these outdated systems.

@@Fuzz-Brain I had an afterthought. Think about the adhesive producer tree in the Atom Shop. It's been in the shop a lot this year. I'd bet your paycheck that this is a subtle way of reducing the amount of adhesive farms people build.

Hey I tried to build my camp where you built and it wouldn’t let me place my camp. I was wondering if you still had your camp at that spot and what happened. I’m guessing either they never wanted people to build their or maybe something is changing in that spot next update so they disabled it? Or maybe it just doesn’t work for me for some reason

Yea I covered this in the build series leading up to this video. You can't build here in Adventure mode, unfortunately, so I built there using a Custom world. I realize not everyone has that ability, but I was really going for an authentic looking radio station and this was the best location for that. In first episode of my build series, I found a few other great spots you could use as well! There are two spots in the Ash Heap with radio towers you could use.
