Appalachian Trail Thru Hike 2023 - Day 166 | Pit Stop With Stops - 100 Mile "Wilderness"

Making our way thru Northern Maine and the 100 mile wilderness has been a refreshing reminder how beautiful the Appalachian Trail can be. With all the natural disasters that can happen along a thru hike, we are reminded there is light at the end of the tunnel with angels like sir stops-a-lot. Much love to Hawk & K-T

Hey guys. Happy to see a new posting and glad you guys are safe and continuing Northward. Been watching the weather and feel for you guys. I think about the trail EVERY single day for some reason. Thought once I finished it would be the last thing I would think about but nope, it's nothing but good memories. Trail magic, trail angels and fellow hikers. Thx Odin.....it's why we took our time....eventually these become memories....so we try to stretch out every moment...even the "bad" ones.......very special year we had. Nobos in our bubble had it rough near the end here

I can’t imagine the surprise of some broken down NOBO slogging thru the tunnel questioning his existence and suddenly coming across a log road where a guy is grillin and chillin. He must have wondered if he was hallucinating ❤😊
