Congratulations on the 100 mile mark! I am so proud of you hiking in the rain! It can be a little uncomfortable, but it adds a completely different perspective on the trail and the woods when you hike in the rain. It is an entirely different pretty than when it's sunny. Back in the day, we had no hostels to bail out to, there were only 5 on the entire A.T. in 1990. Today it seems as though everyone is afraid to hike in the rain and they all go to hostels or hotels. Glad that you got to experience the rain. You are doing great, you're hiking strong, traveling at a good pace and still smiling! Keep it up! geek

I really love walking in the rain ☔️ Sometimes it’s not so good when the temperatures drop at night and everything is wet/cold but you make due🙏
