Julia, I have been following you from your first day on trail and just returned from Max Patch. I’m just a section hiker but love the AT. You are a brilliant young person whom I admire tremendously and marvel at your versatility. Your earlier “problems” seem to be washed away by your multiple accomplishments. Is there anything you can’t do? I don’t think so once you make up your mind to do it! Stay well!

You need to try one, but not the frozen ones. Order it somewhere where it is freshly, deep fried. Typically, they are served at fairs. Nothing like it, given that you are not vegetarian, of course.
