I believe someone had a similar issue with their iPhone, where iPhones or iOS device devices running old versions of iOS can seemingly just get activation, locked out of nowhere. RIP Voice to text. It seems like they still haven’t used AI to fix arguably the worst part about iPhone.

You know how they unlocked it? They changed the SN to another victim who will find out their device is now locked. There is no keygen. They brute force it and steal the SN from a real unlocked device.

At first I thought Chinese-SI was referring to a ISO 3166 Country Code, but looking into it SI is Slovenia's Country Code (and just in case it was SL, that's Serra Leone's Country Code) and Singapore's Country Code is SG. Then it hit me, it's most likely referring to Simplified Chinese which is a different set within Unicode from Traditional Chinese. 12:10

@@EliteObsolete it is enough info afraik,pre iOS 11 device activation ignores matching serial+WiFi+Bluetooth address requirements so you could just get a serial from this iPod touch and plop it on let’s say,a WiFi iPad 4 p/s “Apple” wouldn’t use a Gmail address lol,that’s a giant red flag
