Here's a story of a friend's experience. Mother dies. Father remarries. Father dies. Second wife inherits everything. Second wife dies. Wills everything to HER children. Step siblings piss it all away ( alcoholics ) in a YEAR! Call my friend and demand rest of the estate! He tells them to piss off. They engage a lawyer who calls my friend to advise him to hand over the rest of the estate. My friend explains the sequence of events to the lawyer and advises him that the mother left them EVERYTHING! "They just can't believe that they drank it all up in only a year. Everything is gone. Oh, by the way, don't expect to get paid." Then he laughs at the lawyer. The lawyer hung up and my friend didn't hear anything else.

@@josephmckee3605 oh no, a convoluted plan where he lets himself be kicked out of his own home only to sell it out from under her is much more dramatic. Like that one where the wife came home with her newborn to find her husbands sister had changed the locks, and instead of righting the issue then and there they did this thing where the husband came home, didn't live with his wife and child for a few months, lived with his sister then demolished the house when she went on vacation. So much smoother and more sensible.

Maybe one day he'll buy back his childhood home & live there with his own family. Be a nice way to return to it when he's ready & he doesn't have to worry about it being too big for one person. Just because someone’s the eldest in the family, doesn’t mean they can get whatever they want. The parents made the right decision to put the house in Elijah’s name. It’s sad how Aubrey forced him out of that house. She obviously doesn’t care what happens to him. And I think Elijah made the right decision to sell it to a family. Reminds me of my parents selling our old house to this one family that came over to look around. They were nice, and I remember how my mom told me that they have a family member who can’t go up and down the stairs. If course, like every big house, there’s a guest bathroom. But this one was had, we had a sink, toilet, and a closet where we stored our board games. When one person in that family went in, they talked about how they can turn that closet into a shower. And they had little kids too. So if we were able to make good memories, they can too. This was years ago, and I do hope they’re still doing okay.

The main thing that I really don't understand about these stories are, everyone in the family is thinking that he doesn't work but plays on his computer all day long.. 9 times out of 10 the one working from home is paying the mother money.. Most of the time it's at least $3,000. a month but the mother never says that they are paying a thing.. Why would the mother think that the son or daughter was lazy and didn't work but was still getting a lot of money from that child.. Maybe if the mother actually said that they are paying a lot of money to live there, the other sibling would leave that sibling alone.. If they were not getting money then I'd think that they are not working but she's getting money!! Go figure!! 🙄🙄🙄
