Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg
2 small apples (1 medium apple)
5 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Vegetable oil
Preparations:
1-Peel the apple and slice it into 1/8 inch pieces.
2-Let the butter sit at room temperature for 20 minutes to soften.
Directions:
1-In a large bowl, beat the egg until it becomes stiff.
2-Add the unsalted butter and blend until thoroughly combined.
3-Gradually add the flour, vanilla sugar, and baking powder to the egg and butter, stirring well.
4-Slowly add the milk while continuing to mix until the batter is smooth.
5-Grease a 2-inch deep nonstick bakeware with vegetable oil.
6-Pour half of the batter evenly into the bakeware.
7-Arrange the apple slices over the batter.
8-In a small cup, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
9-Sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture over the apple slices.
10-Pour the remaining batter over the brown sugar and apple layer, spreading it evenly.
11-Sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar mixture on top.
12-Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
13-Bake the cake for 30 minutes or until it is golden brown.
