absolutely incredible video. it didn't feel like i was watching a channel with under 100 subs but rather a youtuber with over 500k. and i do agree with what was said in the video. while the vision pro wasn't successful, its concept is. it has very high potential and serves as an inspiration to other companies.

Plot twist: I'm only getting started! Thanks for the kind words - means a lot 🎯 About Vision Pro's tech, I totally agree even if this model didn't work as apple expected, its concept does have very high potential because meta and other giants are investing in this tech.

Yeah no kidding, theirs is a “formula for success” but it doesn’t always mean everyone will get success if applied. Important thing is to learn from your failure and pave your own path with that knowledge Great content ❤️💡

Exactly! Love how you caught that core message - success isn't just about following a formula. Really appreciate you getting what I was trying to say about turning setbacks into stepping stones. Thanks for this thoughtful comment 🙏

The Apple vision pro was not a failure. It is a first generation product meant for enthusiasts and developers. It was never supposed to sell millions. Expect more widespread adoption with alter revisions down the line. You simply failed to understand the true goal of the Apple Vision Pro.
@WqrAhs4 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your perspective! While I agree the Vision Pro is groundbreaking tech and Apple may have long-term plans, the $1.4B investment and 17-year development suggest bigger initial expectations. But you raise an interesting point about it being a developer-focused release. I aimed to use this product launch to explore broader themes about how we view success and failure, rather than just judge the product itself. What do you think defines success for a first-gen product like this?
@AlexBrown-b3w4 күн бұрын
I agree and disagree with you. I went to Apple when they happened to be doing demos (very cool product) they said it was an attempt to sell more to average consumer. They wanted to reach a larger buyer base, but due to the price. If it was priced as the same point as my Quest 3 I would've bought one for sure. So I agree that it was "meant" for enthusiasts because of the price point. They could've easily sold millions of them if they were $2k-$3k less
@ChickenScratch3 күн бұрын
@@AlexBrown-b3w Apple puts on demos really so they can have more people try out the headset and be excited for when there eventually is a cheaper option down the road. Even if most people can't buy a headset, most people can try it out, and with a good demo, Apple can make the average consumer understand why the product is a thing and excited to buy when there are better options in the future. Additionally. Pricing the apple vision pro at the same price as the Quest 3 is simply impossible. The cost of the displays in the Apple Vision Pro alone cost more than the Quest 3. Apple does not sell their hardware at a loss. The Apple Vision Pro did exactly what Apple wanted by making a big splash and getting average people like you guys talking about it in the first place where otherwise you wouldn't have been doing it. And we can basically all agree that this is something we would love to see at a lower price point. Just give it time. The first iPhone or the first Mac weren't huge successes out of the gate either. It was their later revisions that changed the landscape

The flaw was that it was too expncive and not for gaming. They tried gaming by adding controller support with the help from Sony, but it was too late. If Apple made it cheaper (max 1000USD) and support for PC VR yes PC VR gaming then it would be a sucsess.
@WqrAhs3 күн бұрын
Yup the price is what made Vision Pro an after thought in many potential customer's minds.

Vision Pro has NOT been discontinued! Trying to get some clicks I guess.
@WqrAhs3 күн бұрын
There are whispers rolling around on the internet that say it has been canceled, for example: www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-14068925/Apple-quietly-discontinuing-flagship-device-lackluster-sales.html
@gurnblanston65112 күн бұрын
@@WqrAhs Well you should know better about not believing every " whisper" you read on the internet and turning it into a Vision Pro Bashing clickbate style video. It was not " Discontinued"! The product is still very much alive. They simply have enough stock of them to meet their needs for selling them. It wasn't expected to be a " Mass Market" product. It is too expensive for the average consumer. It is clearly for early adopter enthusiasts with deep pockets. You calling it a failure is and using the term " Failure" though out this video is just not correct.

Granted, us the crowds that buy into almost everything apple does empower them & give them absurd pricing power. These people probably have profit margins in hardware that some software companies would kill for 😂 I think apple is a company in desperate need of some high profile failures to keep them in check. Unfortunately, vision pro hardly makes a dent but a big flop especially with iphone would benefit us consumers in the long run. I for one am hoping the failure of apple intelligence hits harder although i doubt it will slow down sales meaningfully. I say this not out of malice but i think it will force them back to the drawing board to give us products that truly deliver for their consumers. But damn it, these people are sitting on over $160 bn in cash at almost $100bn annual net income, thinking a single product failure might change their course might be pure fantasy 😭
@WqrAhs3 күн бұрын
I agree Apple needs a reality check, this would indeed force them to make better products. About Apple intelligence, it was noticed that 70% of users don't care about or use Apple Intelligence.

huh? so this is an AI experiment? lol
@WqrAhs3 күн бұрын
How would this be an AI experiment? Unless Apple itself is an AI.
