Very complete instructions to follow through. Sometimes the interface is complicated by the OEM display and the CarPlay/Android. Finding aux sound and alrerts is not logical, and your video helps to make it a little easier. I am not sure but I think that if the Original back up camera is selected it is displaed without switching back to OEM display on a C4 Picasso II . I'll have to check.

I see the unit being inserted without anything to prevent it from moving (e.g. on bumps on the road). Would it be wise to use a Velco to fasten it to the original unit (which is secured with the Torx screws) ?

Hi. I think it is quite fixed there because there are many cables between which it sits. You can also fasten it with velcro on the original radio unit housing, but it needs air to circulate for cooling.

Hello. The problem with touch lag is from the original multimedia unit, not from the screen. When you use the Android Auto module, all commands go out of the way without going through the original multimedia, so there is no touch lag.

Hello. To have the AUX option active, follow these steps: connect your phone to the module and display Carplay or Android auto. Go to the phone application for music (potify, TuneIn, KZbin Musuc, etc.) and start playing something. Really informative video! On your ally express link for the Carplay, it gives you the option to buy it for SMEG or NAC. My car currently has the SMEG+, if I was to buy the NAC version, would carplay still work in my car? Is there also any benefit to buying the NAC over the SMEG? Thanks!

SMEG & SMEG+ are the same technically only that SMEG+ has navigation. You have to buy the version for SMEG even if you have SMEG+. If you buy the module for NAC, it will not fit your SMEG plugs. The modules are identical, the connection cables to the original multimedia differ.

However, when I switch between the original system and carplay system the screen seems to lose power for a sec and then switches. Have you ever experienced this? If so, how do I fix it? Hello. It is not a problem with the screen off for almost a second when switching between the module and the original multimedia screen, and the same thing happens to me. However, I think it would be good to place back the CD drive and the Android / Carplay module and put it in the glove box. Remove the glove box lighting lamp and pull the cables through that hole next to the lamp. That's what I did and I will show this in one of the next video.

Hello. The Android module receives the audio signal from the phone via Bluetooth, so you don't need Aux Audio from phone.

Hello. By default, the Peugeot multimedia unit always starts on FM Radio, so you will have to manually activate the AUX IN function by selecting the SOURCE button.

Hello. You can use this mode without selecting AUX in the audio source. If I remember correctly, in the module menu you have the option to choose to use bluetooth from the module or the original bluetooth of the multimedia system.

Hi! 1. The functions of the original multimedia will work the same as before. 2. The audio volume rotary knob and the LIST button with the Google Assistant function will work fine. The small wheel on the right on the steering wheel with which you walk between applications has a small bug and jumps two applications at a time instead of one, for me it is no problem because I do not use it but for others it can be a problem. 3. Waze (and all other applications) only be displayed on the big screen. 4. Hello. - I haven't tried using Google Assistant but it should work. - There is no button on the steering wheel to activate Google Assistant, you can activate with OK Google. - Apple CarPlay wireless works very well with iPhone, on newer Android phones it works wirelessly but for example on OnePlus Nord 2 found a bug as handsfree does not work well when Android Auto is connected over wifi, with cable work ok.

Hi. I just installed this but none of the side panel buttons such as the fan, radio, nav buttons work when i’m using the new unit. The oem unit registers i’ve pressed it as it makes the sound but the only way for me to enter and exit the Car Play unit and use e.g. the fans is using the list button on the steering wheel. Have I done something wrong or is there a way to change this in the settings? Thanks

Pour passer à AUX et pouvoir écouter de la musique à partir d'Android Auto, vous devez jouer du son à partir d'Android Auto, par exemple Spotify est déjà en cours d'exécution. Salutare! Acum testez o navigatie cu ecran de 13 inch. Este mare dar extrem de usor de folosit datorita ecranului mare, nu mai spun de sunet ca este peste sistemul multimedia original. Atat tableta Android cat si modulul au avantaje si dezavantaje. 1. Tableta Android se integreza bine dar nu va afisa mesajele de informare si avertizare (nivel combustibil scazut, ECO dezactivat, etc) sau cel putin inca nu am gasit eu modelul care sa afiseze aceste mesaje. 2. Modulul este opriunea corecta daca vrei sa pastrezi sistemul multimedia original (care oricum se misca ca un melc pe langa unitatea Android) dar si modulul poate avea ceva probleme: uneori convorbirile pe bluetooth nu mergeau, modulele testate de mine nu comutau automat pe camera de mers inapoi. Salut. Acest modul nu are specificații un ceea ce privește procesorul sau memoria RAM. De fapt modulul functioneaza doar ca o interfata între telefon și ecranul masinii, iar treaba și-o face foarte bine. Pe de alta parte zilele trecute mi-a sosit o tableta Android dedicata 308-ului T9 comandata de pe Aliexpress si sper ca în vreo doua - trei săptămâni sa o testez și sa fac un review despre ea. Totusi I-am facut o scurta proba și la prima vedere pare foarte ok, are deja Android Auto si Carplay integrat, însă meniul masinii este mult mai întortocheat... Totusi comenzile pentru climatizare sunt la o apăsare de buton. Cred ca mi-ar relativ greu sa decid între acestea doua, desi tendința mea este sa pastrez multimedia originala și sa folosesc modulul, daca am Android Auto si Carplay altceva nu-mi trebuie.

Hello. The camera does not switch automatically, or it did not on my module. I made an adaptation with a relay and a wire brought from the reverse lamp that gives a signal in the Reverse cable of the module and works the automatic transition on the camera image when I put it in reverse gear. The car has exactly the same screen and functionality but my car's package doesn't have GPS function (navigation map). But it does have that navigation button where you click and open the Android Auto in the video (but in my car when you click that button it says "navigation is loading" but then closes since it doesn't have this package). If I do everything as you showed in the video, when I click to that button it would open Android Auto screen right? Hello. 1. You will press the Navi button and it will switch to the Android Auto / Carplay module. However, you have the second option to switch to the module by pressing the LIST button on the steering wheel controls. 2. Android Auto wireless works on newer phones but still has some bugs. I tested with OnePlus Nord 2 and it worked but my handsfree didn't work well and I prefer to use the cable connection which has no problems. Thank you for the appreciations!

However using the navi button does not toggle between Carplay and the Peugeot built-in app. I need to press starr button. to change from Carplay to Peugeot app. However repressing this starbutton does not bring back car play. Also the second option to use the list button does not bring back carplay. I have to manually disconnect and connect the usb cable on the phone. Then carplay comes back. It's a bit annouying when I want to change temperture settings in the car.

Salutare! E o decizie destul de grea. Saptamana aceasta am dat jos unitatea Android de pe masina (am vandut-o pt a cumpara alta sa o testez) si am pus la loc unitatea multimedia originala, am avut oarece dezamagire cand mi-am reaintit ca se misca cu intarzieri. Deja eram foarte obisnuit cu rapiditatea unitatii Android. Daca tii ca masina sa arate ca din fabrica un modul ca acesta este solutia, daca vrei ceva custom cu mult peste capacitatile sistemului multimedia original o navigatie dedicata Android e soluti cu singurul dezavantaj ca nu va afisa mesajele informative si de averzare din computerul masinii.
