(Liked and subscribed) Just one question: I have a factory reversing camera, but when I put the car in reverse, the screen does not change to the camera screen, I have to switch to the factory screen in order to see the picture of the camera. Hello! From what I can see, in some cars, the automatic switching to the camera image does not work when shifting into reverse gear, in others it does. Theoretically, you have to pull a cable from the reverse lamp (the positive cable) to the Android Auto / Carplay module and connect it to the cable of the module on which "REVERSE" is written. Probably in the future I will make such a tutorial but on my Peugeot 308 car, in practice it is the same operation on the 508. Hello, amazing installation video. I am hearing popping and cracking sounds when using audio after installing the module. I also have a warning light on the dashboard saying there is an electrical fault and car needs to be repaired. This makes the service light come on. I hear lots of static when I switch to reverse camera too (sometimes video looks static and not smooth) I sometimes smell burning inside the car too. Do I need to reinstall/remove the module or is this normal? I am slightly worried as am not sure if this is causing an issue to my car battery. Thank you.

Hello. I had none of these problems on the 508 I installed this module on. However, if you say that there is also a burning smell, there seems to be something wrong and I strongly recommend you to remove the module and check if it is the problem. Do tests with the module connected to the multimedia but without putting it in the dashboard.

Salut, am un Peugeot 508 din 2017 cu multimedia SMEG 5.41 si am cumparat un modul android auto EBILAEN in noiembrie 2023. L-am montat pe masina in decembrie 2023, cu mare atentie. Totul a decurs foarte bine pana la proba finala! Pe parte video si conectivitate wifi si bluetooth a fost ok dar pe parte de sunet unde este mai important, redarea intre modulul android si interfata originala a masinii care se face prin AUX, FUNCTIONEAZA DOAR PE UN CANAL(canal stanga). Am verificat cu multimetrul cablurile de semnal audio ale modulului si sunt ok. Am verificat sistemul original de AUX prin mufa jack al masinii si este ok(se aude pe ambele canale). Am verificat tot ce se putea pe parte de hardware! In concluzie: Sunetul intre modulul EBILAEN si multimedia OE a masinii se face doar pe un canal! Daca ai o solutie,........ Multumesc!

Salutare! Dupa cele descrise de tine ma gandesc doar la faptul ca ar fi o problema a modulului. Ai incercat sa descrii problema vanzatorului? Sa-i trimiti un filmulet, sper sa te poata ajuta. Nu mai retin exact daca modulul are iesire auxiliara audio (rca), ar fi o varianta sa scoti sunet prin mufele de iesire audio auxiliara si sa te conectezi la mufa jack AUX a masinii. As vrea sa ma tii la curent daca reusesti sa rezolvi cumva.

Hello. In Peugeot cars, every time you start the engine, the source of sound on multimedia it will switch to FM Radio, you will have to change to AUX every time. Hello. Does your 2015 car have RT6 multimedia with a non-touch screen? I think the best option would be to upgrade to the original SMEG system or best to an original NAC system because it also has Android Auto / Carplay. On ebay I think you can find sellers from whom you can buy these systems, or look for car dismantling parks in your country.

Da, este normal sa functioneze asa deoarece cand bagi in treapta de mers inapoi modulul stie ca trebuie sa comute pe senzori si camera, dar cand mergi cu fata si senzorii detecteaza obstacol modulul nu mai stie ca trebuie sa comute pe afisarea senzorilor. Pentru mine acesta nu este un impediment deoarece am averizarile sonore suficient de clare.

Everything is working normally, except for one detail: When I'm using Apple CarPlay and activate the reverse gear, the parking camera and sensors don't appear on the screen automatically. I have to exit the CarPlay module. The camera and sensors are active and working outside the CarPlay module. Can I set it up so that it automatically goes to the monitor? Thanks, Best Regard!

Hello. It seems that the canbus decoder in the module does not know how to make an automatic switch when you put it in reverse gear. The solution is to pull a cable from the reversing light that will act as a trigger for a relay that will give a signal in the mode on the cable marked with REVERSE. I did this job for my 308 and in about two weeks I will post the video on how to do it.

Bună Adrian. Deși eu am un 308, am urmarit acest videoclip ca sa vad diferențele sau îmbunătățirile modulului. Am observat ca acesta este la fel ca si cel pt 308 si functioneaza apriximativ la fel. Dar totusi nu inteleg 2 chestii. 1. La 508 camera din spate se conectează automat iar la 308 am înțeles ca nu e posibil. 2. De ce Apple carplay se conectează prin wireless iar Android nu? Iar o alta intrebare ar fi, ca intre acest tip de modul si cel cu "ecranul gros" care l-ai montat in alt videoclip pe 308,.care il consideri mai bun?

Eu acum folosesc un modul din generatia mai noua (gri) pe 308 si pot spune ca au imbunatatit convorbirile pe bluetooth, calitatea audio si stabilitatea conexiunii Wireless pe Android Auto. 1. Camera de mers inapoi la 308 tot nu se cupleaza automat dar se poate trece spre aceasta prin apasarea scurta a butonului touch "STAR" de pe marginea ecranului. Se poate face trecerea automata la camera de mers inapoi dar trebuie adus un fir de la plusul lampii de mers inapoi pana la modul si trebuie conectat la firul "Reverse" de pe modul. Cred ca voi face pe viitor aceasta operatiune si voi filma un tutorial. 2. Versiunea noua a rezolvat aceasta problema, Android Auto merge si Wireless. Ba chiar este enervant uneori deoarece nu poti dezactiva conectarea automata Wireless si de fiecare data cand pornesc masina trece automat pe modul Android Auto sau Carplay daca detecteaza ultimul telefon conectat. 3. As spune ca prefer modulul Android / Carplay pentru a pastra mesajele info de pe unitatea originala. Totusi acea tableta Android mi-a placut foarte mult, daca era capabila sa afiseze mesajele info si cele de avertizare spuneam de mult la revedere unitatii originale. Probabil voi mai testa si alte tablete pe 308, poate gasesc ceva care sa afiseze si mesajele. Inca un dezavantaj la tableta Android: daca ai sistem de franare autoamata (radar + adaptiv Cruise Control) acesta nu va mai functiona odata ce ai scos unitatea multimedia originala si ai instalat o tableta Android. Sper ca te-am lamurit :)

Salutare. Din pacate modulul nu este compatibil cu sistemul tau de navigatie si datorita complexitatii sistemului hybrid si a interactiunii cu sistemul multimedia. O varianta ar fi sa-ti instalezi o unitate multimedia Android dedicata 508, dar nu pot garanta ca va functiona fara erori deoarece ai sistemul hybrid: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DDi2Q93 Alta optiune este o tableta DVR ce este compatibila si cu Android Auto sau Carplay Wireless: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DdRBGN3 Aceasta din urma se conecteaza pentru sunet la unitatea originala multimedia prin radio FM sau prin cablu audio Auxiliar si functioneaza independent de multimedia masinii. Am achizitionat un astfel de device DVR cu Carplay si Android Auto si pe viitor ii voi face un review. Daca vrei sa instalezi oricare dintre cele propuse de mine sunt dispus sa te ajut cu montajul gratuit daca te poti deplasa pana la Tulcea.

Salutare. Daca navigatia ta este fara touch screen nu poti monta acel modul. Totusi ai doua optiuni: 1. Instalezi un sistem complet de generatie mai noua, original Peugeot (NAC) care este perfect compatibil cu masina ta dar te costa undeva pe la 500 euro + montaj: www.olx.ro/d/oferta/nac-navigatie-peugeot-508-applecarplay-android-auto-inlocuieste-rt6-IDeRACB.html (anuntul nu-mi apartine, este dat ca exemplu de unde poti cumpara). 2. Hello. Is the multimedia in your car SMEG or SMEG+? You can find out which version it is by following the steps in the video at minute 0:30. If you use the audio sent via the Android Auto / Carplay module with the AUX IN function, you will not have a bluetooth / sound delay.
