Thank you. This is how my mother made it, except she used an iron skillet. She gave me the recipe once but it didn't turn out tasty like hers. She used Bisquick, so I don't know went wrong. I've been wanting her recipe for years, because hers were the best.

I've got to tell you, there are a lot of ways to make just about anything BUT when it comes to Cobbler peach and apple there is only one way I like and that is just the way you made this appel cobbler. the first time I was this recipe was for Peach Cobbler by Chef John. BRAVO to you both. I'm making this for my daughter and granddaughter tomorrow.

Thanks so much for your video, was looking for a recipe just like this, some family had made a similar style cobbler a few decades ago and was thinking about it today. Perfect for those extra apples!

Its looks very delicious and easy to make. I will definitely give this a try. Thanks for sharing. P.S. God loves the world that he gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ. Anyone, who believes in him, will not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) So seek Him because He loves everyone unconditionally and desires for us all to be with him when He returns. God bless everyone.

Regret...IT IS WAY TOO SWEET. One cannot taste the apple for toffee syrup.
@NancisBakeShoppe4 жыл бұрын
Are you sure you watched this video and tried this recipe? This recipe does not have a toffee or syrup.
@tantalisinglabrat4 жыл бұрын
100% sure. Maybe I just have sugar issues. I'm sure it will be more to my taste with a table spoon or 2 sugar in the apple like a strudel, 3/4 cup in the batter and around 30 min. baking. I used golden delicious apples that cook out very quickly. . Maybe granny smith would be better. So from sunny South Africa I'll try again one day soon and comment with the result. Thanks for the video anyway.

The recipe was simple and quick, but not my favorite in terms of taste.
@NancisBakeShoppe5 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you found the recipe simple. Now is the time to tweak it so that it is more to your taste. Perhaps change the variety of apple you used or the amount of spices.
