They’ve recently updated it so you can filter on body part too - upper., lower and total body. Also like Gregg too 👍🏽

I’m new to AF+ and my only complaint is that there aren’t any programs. It would be great if there was a 30-90 day programs you can follow vs just picking a suggestions I need structure and it would be more motivating.

Agreeed. That’s why as spring hit I canceled so I hit the bicycle. But as winter comes I may get it again. But I wrote down what I planned to do for a week. Then wrote down the workouts I did with what weights. It’s work but it’s necessary to progress. Hope it helps.

What a great, comprehensive review! I’ve been using Apple Fitness Plus for a couple of months and I love it. You completely read my mind on the pros and cons: from favorite trainers, to not being able to use my iMac or filter by upper/body. Love the Yoga videos as well as the rowing. Oh and guided meditations are a new feature I’m really enjoying. It’s a hell of a deal

VEry good video Steve. I am impressed so far with Apple Fitness. I expect Apple to make many improvements and additions to the product. THe ability to do a workout whenever I want for all these different timeframes is a great benefit.

Great review, we’ve just started using AF+ as I got a new watch, production is good but some bits are weirdly organised, there are no fitness programs with sequential days/weeks, just a random assortment of workouts and even them aren’t in episode order! Each time we work out it’s a phaff to find out where we were & what to try next! Bizarre like does Apple actually use this themselves..

I believe the inability to fast forward and rewind during a session is intentional. Trying to duplicate the gym experience. Agree about the filter by body part - seems like a no brainer.

Been using AF+ for about three months now and I always find it extremely frustrating not to be able to search for trainings that focus on particular body/muscle parts. Also, putting your library at the very bottom of the AF+ tab is just dumb and annoying 😅

My only annoyance with Apple Fitness + is that, apparently, the company of the bitten apple, hates Sweden 😊because it has not presented this service here, as well as other products such as HomePods. Why? I just don’t know!

Hey Steve, do you know if the metrics like heart rate, duration, etc will display on the TV during airplay? I just got the new Apple Watch 8 today and it streams on Airplay to the TV, but no metrics.

The Apple TV box works best... or you can also use a device with Airplay 2 for the metric display. I've got it working with a Roku 4k streaming stick.. it works well just not as good as have the Apple TV
