Depends. Moderate success like being a millionnaire or low end multi millionnaire does not require you to be anything out of ordinary. I mean you can do that with hard work and networking. But I don't know anyone at the top level in the world who isn't extreme in their idea and has insane amount of luck. That's why, we can see throughout 2024,celebrities falling left and right. I don't condone it, and I don't think anyone should even aspire to be a billionnaire. But it is what it is.

Haha, I think he just didn’t like the Sony pressman recorder that the engineers presented to him when he requested a smaller player for him to listen to his opera music with on the plane since he was previously using a field recorder meant for reporters. He hated the fact it had a record button so they just took that out and well the Walkman was born. Not sure about the Aquarium part lol

It doesn't even make sense. Air bubbles are not made by space in the object, but air in the water being displaced by the object. I just googled this because it seemed vaguely wrong and brosciency, et voila, completely wrong. It is totally unlike Jobs to use a scientific observation to manage an engineering problem.

The iphone was the first "smartphone" as we know it today. It's the architecture of the key components that is still used an astonishing 20 years later. No, the ipod wasn't the first mp3 player, but it was the first REALLY great mp3 player that got everything right and was a huge success. He was also the first to put an emphasis on computers looking really good which who knows... might have never happened and it's a trend that carries on to today.

Also Musk makes almost only keynotes about things he will never make: like hyperloop, solar roofs, mars trips, robo taxi, (did i forgot the robot in spandex ? ). While Steve Jobs literally only made keynotes about things which he hold in his hand - meaning: it was real at that time. Jobs wasnt simply promising. This story makes perfect sense - what the engineers actully did was fill the voids with potting compound so there was no air to fail the test. That had the side effect of making the first totally unrepairable sealed for its life Apple product.

@@dixidum2380 It's not overpriced. It's the price to get everything top quality. It seems like you, like many others, forget there's a difference between "a lot of money" and "expensive". When something is expensive, it's because you don't get a lot for what you pay. But that's just not the case with Macbooks. You get the best displays, best trackpads, best speakers, touch id etc. You don't get that in a cheap laptop. you pay half the price and you get a sloppy plastic build with tin speakers, 144p webcam and a mic that sounds like something NASA used during the moon landing. It's not expensive, because you actually get a lot for the money. Quality isn't gonna come cheap. I'm not saying a cheap laptop won't get the job done, it probably will, but the performance and the experience won't be nowhere near the same as a more expensive laptop. Apple just don't sell a cheap plastic laptop with shitty hardware, and that's why they don't have a "cheap" laptop.

I would say Apple was the first to package it better. First 30y, their components were made by well known manufacturers from Entire world. Iphone 1, 2 and 3 had samsung processor in them. Majority of all apple products have used Samsung SD ram. Im just mentioning the costliest part of the devices here.

Way before iPod there are mp3 music players in China with similar iPod design.. the design n concept was copied from China but the music clarity was hi-res on iPod compared to Chinas mp3 music players
