Hundreds of wedding reservations every month??? How many weddings can they do in a day??? "Alright, you're done, get out, NEXT!"
@bisonfarm5 ай бұрын
If they start at 6am, a lot 6hrs for prep, ceremony, teardown… they can have 3. If they have 4 rooms - that’s 12 wedding a day. If we assume they have weddings 7days of the week.. that’s 360 weddings… Absurd yes. But if it’s a large enough building , plausible.

Ruby did imply she would pay it. They could have sued her and she may have been liable for what they spent on that day. Even if she didn't outright say she would pay it, she could have been liable still for the implications.

There was no legal contact. Verbally discussing things and changing your mind isn't illegal in the US. She never she would give them any money. She only asked Carrie if she wanted $60,000 instead of $20,000. She also said to give her the receipts and she'll look at them. Ruby was very careful on how she worded things and knew they would let their greed cloud their judgement. It's not her fault they weren't listening

Carrie and Mandy totally had a “ Let’s take a shortcut through the dark alley “ moment, but continued shopping anyway. Ruby totally blocked them, so how is she supposed to get her money back? I actually thought the Fred character was not going to be an idiot. Why the flip? Carrie will take care of the baby in her free time. Too bad the character wasn’t lying. Imagine if she was a real person.

22. IS A FULL GROWN WOMAN ! WOMEN HAVE BEEN STARTING FAMILIES IN LATE TEENS ! AND HAVING ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER
@norarivkis25135 ай бұрын
22 is *sometimes* a full grown woman. But life was simpler in the years when people were marrying in their teens, and there was less to learn before young adults were ready to function in the adult world. It's still possible to be ready at 22, but it's not as common as it used to be.

While I'm only halfway into the story I will say I know plenty of people who have not been able to move into their deceased family's or parents home, they also weren't comfortable with letting anyone else live their either. At least until they were able to handle their grief properly. From the sound of it Ruby left right after she lost her parents and probably never allowed herself to grieve in a healthy way. So yeah staying away from the house makes alot of sense when you look at it that way.

Let's stop with the 22 is too young to get married comments. It's emotional maturity not physical age that counts when getting married. I was 18 when I got married and my husband and I will be celebrating 30 years married this year. If you have the maturity of a 10 year old as an adult, it doesn't matter at what age you get married, if you have the maturity and thinking of a child, more than likely you will not have a successful marriage.
