+Nam Phan I've had mine coming up on for about 2 years, the things I don't like is that the back is glass so if you drop it on a hard surface the back will crack but other than that it's sturdy. Also because this phone is getting out of date, you can't download some of the apps, and with some apps the phone just closes the app because it's too much for the phone to take, but that is just once in while and the phone will run and download most of the apps you need. If you can get a newer phone just get a newer one, but if you can't and just need to call, text and browse the web on a phone and the only thing you can afford is the 4, then get it. The camera and video quality is not super bad, but it's not good.

Nam Phan I got mine in near mint condition for 49.00 on eBay. If you want Siri, go with the 4s. I like this iPhone much better than my more recent Samsungs & LG's. I just like iOS. Some apps wont load due to it being an older iPhone, but the camera, video, mp3 player, texting, calling, web browsing, all work great.

Me too. It still does everything I need at the mo. I'll probably wait until the 6s next year to upgrade, but my 4 (first smartphone I've owned) has served me very well. Also, when I finally get a new phone, all the new features of the 6s (or whatever Apple call it) will seem like a massive leap forward to me as I haven't upgraded every year. I'll definitely go for the 128gb though.

Im an Android user and always will be... However i still cannot ignore the beauty and premium quality of many of Apple's products. Ever since I first held an iPhone 4 I immediately knew i had to have one. The quality build is just so amazing and feels amazing in the hand. Now i never could use it as my primary device because iOS sucks and so does iTunes. So I use a Nexus 5 as my daily driver but i went ahead and bought a used iPhone 4 to play with and use as a MP3 player. My wife has the iPhone 5S but i still think the iPhone 4 is better. The 5S build feels like it took a step down in quality and design.

Yeah, those are nice, but still doesn't match the quality of the iPhone 4 quality feel. I havent held the Xperia Z3 so I cant pass full judgement, although I have held the M8. It is very nice and feels more premium than many others, but it still doesnt have the solid quality feeling as the iPhone 4. I think its the glass layering on both front and back of the iphone that gives it that overall premium feeling. But we'll probably never see that much anymore because one of the main complaints of the iphone 4 was its overall fragile build. Just a slight short fall to the ground and it shatters...

This is dumb, but if the i4 can run a complex app like Clash Of Clans which has to run the processor to the hilt without crashing or lagging I see no reason to update. I like the build and a little more weight too. I don't really like the movement to make things as light as possible, I want my tech to be sturdy and substantial. Like when a women handles a handgun for the first time and the weight and solid build makes them smile and go whoe! In the past weight was a sign of quality.

I have a 5 year old iPhone 4 and pretty much every feature now doesn't work. In fact most haven't worked since since the first 2 years. Battery lasts less than 6 hours on standby. It's painfully slow. If someone calls me, it crashes. The mic cuts out occasionally. The speakers are broken. The phone turns itself back on when I switch it off. The backlight is always on, even when the phone's battery is dead.

+Signal Radar I wanted to wait a few years so that it felt like a big jump. My previous phone was a Nokia1110 (which came out in 2005), which I also had for 5 years, and as you can imagine the iPhone 4 was a huge jump for me, but I don't think the iPhone 6s is even half as much as a jump. Mobile phone technology has really seemed to slow down. Also most my iPhone 4 issues happened after the first few months, so I am a little reluctant to buy an iPhone or anything made by FC. And the screens of newer phone's seem to break easily, my iPhone 4 can cope with anything I don't want to lose that security.

Just upgraded from an iPhone 4 to a Galaxy S4. The ios7 on iPhone was absolutely terrible due to the intense lag and stuff. However I cannot deny that the experience of the iPhone on previous versions of iOS was pretty good and dat design.....one of the best looking phones in history.

jonathan acosta recently i've owned an Iphone 4 and Iphone 5. I'd have to admit that the iphone 4 is far more superior in term of built quality, holding an iphone 4 is far more superior rather than the iphone 5 where as the Iphone 5 was light *i know its sound shitty but trust me, a considerable weight are the best rather than the lightest.

I bough an iPhone 4 in 2010. Now after 5 years, it still work good like it just came out of the box. I can still use it as my main smartphone without any issues now in 2015. in 2010: Oh my God! I got a new iPhone 4! He got a the new iphone! How beautiful it is, how sharp the screen is, it also features a gyroscope (how cool), facetime, solid build quality,....I mean it's just like...Magic. in 2015: Oh well, I got for myself a new iPhone 6 Plus. ehhhh. This proves that Apple somewhat died together with Steve Jobs. Apple still make the best smartphone today, but it's just not the same...

Open iTunes into your computer, plug it into said computer and hold home button and power button at the same time until the screen turns black. Then let go of the power button while still holding the home button until you see on iTunes that a phone with recovery mode on has been detected. After this, you can back it up and reset it.

Without a doubt, this is the most groundbreaking iPhone Apple has released. From the Retina display to the design of the chassis, it still looks good today (in 2018). I’d always wanted a 4S since it came out, but when the time came for me to buy my first iPhone, the 4S was getting rather long in the tooth, so I bought a used 5S instead. I ended up liking it so much that I bought an iPhone SE back in September to replace it. I still love Apple, but I honestly miss the days when they were more innovative with most of their new product releases.

I just got my brothers old iphone 4 for christmas. Now I know people who have the 5, 6, and 6 plus, but the iphone 4 honestly has the best design that I've seen from apple phones yet.

Ninjya I would recommend android because of custimization i truly love both apple and android but android has alot more features and also dont upgrade to this phone atleast get Iphone 4s its much faster and has a better megapixel camera and frontside camera.

Ninjya Not at all, don't waste your money on it. It was a very good phone, and in my opinion one of the best looking iphones but it is completely outdated and won't work properly.
