I have the yellow one and it's super cute,, I don't think it's bland at all (it's pastel yellow basically) but I'm into more of the creaming tones than into the blue and the pink - but colours aside, the actual phone is amazing, perfect size and the screen quality is great, and unless i was absolutely desperate for the fingerprint unlocking I would go for the 5c over the 5s any day ✌️

Personally I love my pink Iphone 5c. I have an Iphone 5 and 5s as well. A major drawback to the c though that I don't see anyone mention is that the screen is almost a little bit raised. It's not as flush as the 5 or 5s. So, you pretty much have to have a case on it. At that point, you might as well go for the 5 and just buy a case to make it the color of your choice if you're looking for something cheaper.

But I switched to the 5c because the finger print scanner stopped working after 6 months and I was so mad because I paid the FULL price for the 5s 😩 so I got my 5c today and I'm very very happy with it 😊😊

If it was just the fingerprint scanner that stopped working would you not just keep using it? 5c doesn't have a fingerprint scanner anyway. Unless the home button functionality stopped working entirely. Regardless, you should be able to send it back or get it repaired under warranty.

The 5C is a dramatic change in hardware from the 4S. Now if you had an iPhone 5 the 5C is not a change in hardware at all and i would say that it is not worth buying. I would upgrade to the 5C if i were you, but if were to ask me would i take the 5C over the 5S, i would always buy the 5S over the 5C.

Are there any alternatives to the 5c? Something compact, colourful, with similar specs. I like the Lumia phones but they all have compromises. Small but no front facing camera and bad specs. too big but has good specs. Is there no middle ground? I don't want to go any older than 2013 either. :P
